13.01.2022 Control the things you can control because there is a lot you can’t. Sometimes life happens and can interfere with your progress. Realise sometimes there are reasons you can’t train, choose the healthiest options, get enough sleep, drink enough water, rest enough or just be at your best. Saying this control the things you can control, take responsibility for your actions and don’t make things that aren’t an excuse an excuse. Learn to see the difference between life happenin...g and making excuses. Be nice to yourself but also be strict on yourself. It’s up to you, to make your goals reality. 09.01.2022 Sorry guys I have been so quiet on here. I have been sick so haven't been in the mood to do much. So like most people I been on a mission to lose my Christmas love (hahahaha yes you aren't the only one who had a good holiday.) So I weighed in on Friday and hit my weekly goal. Woot woot I was worried as I am sick and not training. My aim is to drop 500 grams over the next two weeks to be back at my pre christmas body. It got me thinking. Have you broken your big weight loss ...goal up into increments, weekly increments are the best. If not I highly suggest you do! It gives you a target each week to aim for. When you hit it, it is a huge win in itself and something to be celebrated (not with chocolate or wine!) It will also motivate you. If you don't hit it we can talk about why, what stopped you or whether we need to go back to the drawing board and change your approach. I have changed two peoples approaches this week because they didn't hit the goals we wanted. It isn't that they failed, its that we didn't factor in different work and life circumstances. Now we have changed our approach I think we will see epic results next week. This being said please remember the scales aren’t your only reference point. They are influenced by many factors, sometimes you can go up in weight but lose body fat! Measurements and photos are soooo important also! At NBPT we use the Inbody machine and photos as our other references to ensure the body composition is changing even if my clients weight goes up.
