Our end-of-year Launceston concert, featuring the fabulous NHT Melissa Wimmer's School of Theatrical Dance group, Maryanne's Junior group AND the new NHT Choir will be held on Sunday November 29th at the Scotch Oakburn Auditorium (Senior School Penquite Rd campus). 20.01.2022 OUR BIG NEWS: NHT HAS BEEN SUCCESSFUL IN SECURING NDIS ILC FUNDING! New Horizons Tasmania are incredibly proud to announce that we have been successful in the last NDIS National ILC funding round. NHT are now able to activate some incredibly exciting projects (including establishing a dedicated resource on the North-West Coast!!!), while we continue to explore transitioning some of our programs to align with the NDIS (for long-term viability). Our members, volunteers a...nd supporters know that it has been an incredibly stressful few years, as we've given it our ALL to ensure the future of our incredible organisation. Thank you so much to our superb community - you are THE BEST crew anyone could wish for. 18.01.2022 THANKYOU Tasmanian Turf Club Inc.! We've had an especially lovely morning at our Launceston Craft group, with a visit from Tas Turf Club CEO Natalie Waters, dropping off a HUGE cheque donation for $3,635.00! These $ were raised at the recent Turf Club Melbourne Cup Charity Lunch, which donated all funds to New Horizons :) A huge thank you to the TTC, to all the local businesses who contributed wonderful prizes, and to all the guests who purchased raffle tickets. The funds will be going directly to our 2021 programs and couldn't have come at a better time- we're super grateful! #NHTfundraising #nhtcommunity

You’ll lead the administrative set-up of new NDIS-specific programs for our participants, and also advise us on how existing programs may fit within the NDIS space. You’ll recommend best-practice NDIS invoicing methods and also consult with our participants on how to include New Horizons programs in their NDIS plans.
