21.01.2022 We are currently working through some of our Club history, and came across this #ThrowbackThursday photo from 1954. Who can spot our Life Member in this lineup?

21.01.2022 Earlier today Brother Paul visited our new Archives, to view the M W McGovern Trophy for Best Hockey Player (foreground), and to search for a particular article... in the Spectrum magazines of 1969 to 1971. (Spectrum was the Marist Brothers’ College journal and spans the years 1965 to 1972.) Brother Paul picked up a bound volume and opened to a random page, only to see it contained a report written by him when he was in Third Year (Year 10)! Serendipity!

21.01.2022 Last night we held our Junior Wind Up and celebrated the 2020 season. A full report will be included in the newsletter, but as the photos show the NKHC family continues to grow. Good luck to the J7/8 and J9/10 teams for their playoffs this weekend

20.01.2022 Today was the last day of school for some of our youngsters. Wishing all our Year 12's the best of luck in their forthcoming exams, and in whatever path they choose to follow from here on (and hopefully it will include hockey!)

19.01.2022 What a night for our J3/4 summer hockey teams tonight. For the first time our two teams faced each other in a great game of hockey held at Shenton Turf. The game was played in great spirit by both teams and coached well by Peta-Maree Ashford and Glenn Shiell from the sidelines. Thanks to our super supportive parents for getting these teams together for the Summer Hockey competition during Term 4. Well done J3/4 Cool Knights and Summer Knights

19.01.2022 Today's #ThrowbackThursday is of our victorious J7/8 Girls from 2012. Who do you recognise? Don't miss the Junior Wind Up at the Clubrooms tonight from 5.30pm when we celebrate the 2020 Season.

16.01.2022 Tonight saw a group of Mums of our junior players meet for the first time to start their own NKHC hockey team. Lots of laughter and red faces at the session but they all left with big smiles on their faces. We wish them all the best for the season ahead and thanks to Suzy for guiding these lovely ladies in 2021

09.01.2022 Calling all Knights! Don't miss our Final Fixtures this weekend. Pull on your Club Shirt, Blue jacket and loosen up your vocal chords! Yes we know there’s a clash of games, and yes we tried our best to persuade HWA to change them, but we will still have more supporters than our opposition!

03.01.2022 Congratulations to our O50 Div 4 team on securing their Grand Final spot yesterday! Don't miss out on the action down at UWA T2 today, starting with a crucial game for our Div 7 Women at 12.30pm, followed by the Div 6 Women, Premier 3 Men, Div 5 Men and Div 9 Men.

02.01.2022 And so it ends sadly all three teams bowed out yesterday, with the Men's 1's losing out during penalties after a 2-2 draw, the 3's going down 2-1 and the O50's losing 2-0. Thanks for all the tremendous support and we look forward to celebrating the weird 2020 season on 17th October at our Club Wind Up. Details to follow later today
