I notice myself when I enjoy something or do well my attitude is always positive before. 2020 made it tough with the inability to travel and all the extra stresses added to stay in a positive headspace.... Have a good hard look at yourself at some point , what’s your attitude been like in 2020 ? What needs to change ? Do you need to change or are you blaming something else ? We don’t care that your best mates sister is doing 109 difference arbitrary exercises and she’s skinny, she’s also more then likely weak and unable to do any of the shit that matters in a gym. Training is progressive and requires repetitive efforts over a duration of time.... The people who do well in here embrace the above, they don’t care what is on the screen ,they understand the work and more importantly they execute it well Time and time again. 12.01.2022 2021 will see a lot of exciting changes at NYF as we head towards another huge year !! More lunch classes added including on conditioning days , more speciality classes including boxing and yoga !! Strength classes will also have more time added to allow for more stretching pre/post workout. ( full timetable won’t be in swing until end of jan 2021 ) We will also be opening up the back of the gym during the break which will see more spaces added to each class across the time...table on mindbody which is awesome news . Nyf is currently full , however in the new year we will be looking to add new faces to our team. Once you have your clear and precise goal the next step is to develop a strategy on how to the get there, which should also be clear and precise.... The final step is to execute the above. Meet John , john is frustrated and fed up of being weak and skinny and wants to add 50KG to his squat and deadlift in 4 months ( clear precise goal ). JOHN reaches out to his coaches and they decide he needs to prioritise his lifting and progressively stress the system by adding weight to his Major lifts each week , they also decide John is underweight and needs more body weight to move more weight so a caloric surplus is needed (smaller clear and precise steps) Johny because his a good lad executes the above and kicks his goals. what are your goals ?
