23.01.2022 Saying farewell to Winter in Newcastle, NSW, Australia with some pics of the crazy surf and soaking weather (mostly from today). Needless to say, I got absolutely drenched.... Despite the rather dismal conditions, the incessant rain and falling rocks, wet shoes, clothes, etc etc... it was rather fun getting these shots. The colours of the sea against the dark skies were a real treat :) Wishing all a good weekend... a happy Spring and to all the dads out there ... Happy Father's Day for Sunday. 19.01.2022 Such a pretty end to the week. How many s can you count in this shot from the Cowrie Hole tonight? I think nature was sending us a message to live, love and be kind to each other. It was very sad to hear one of Australia's most amazing photographers was taken away at such a young age recently in a terrible accident. Breaks my heart. Have a safe and happy weekend all - and keep warm
