25.01.2022 Today we helped radio station Darwins 97 Seven FM with some maintenance to get the best performance out of their 5KW transmitter. We replaced a problematic connector and power divider which improved the antenna efficiency in a big way. The return loss is now better then the first day it was commissioned several years ago. Darwin 97.7FM were very happy with the outcome.

23.01.2022 It’s very rewarding installing Cel-Fi repeaters in remote areas. Woolianna School was very impressed by the technology they received today. Previously there was no mobile phone reception on site. With this Cel-Fi configuration we were able to provide mobile phone coverage around the whole school. The teachers were very grateful to have an additional layer of communications available. However, this could present a new challenge for teachers at Woolianna keeping kids off their phones in class

21.01.2022 Cel-Fi mobile phone repeaters are designed to amplify and disburse phone signal within a building. The System compromises of two boxes, a Window Unit (WU) and a Coverage Unit (CU): A typical setup involves placing the Window unit in an area within the building that gets the best possible mobile signal. This would usually be an upstairs window or a window at one end of the house. Alternatively an external antenna can connect to the device for maximum signal using a yagi antenna installed on the roof.

16.01.2022 Living remote often means limited internet connectivity. The last option is usually NBN Sky Muster (satellite internet). Satellite downloads typically have high latency and limited speed. Internet degradation and drop outs are also experienced during bad weather. Thats never good when you are watching your favourite Netflix films Fortunately, with 1 bar of 4G reception there is another option to achieve respectable internet speeds. Today we compared the Cel-Fi mobile repeater side by side with the NBN Sky Muster . Speed tests show Cel-Fi performed 6x faster in latency and double the download speed of the NBN Sky Muster. 16.01.2022 Over the past couple of days we have been working hard to deliver a wireless point-to-multi-point CCTV solution at Jape Homemaker Village. The CCTV system was installed with strobe and siren alarms which sound when intruders are detected. Push notification instantly alert security guards to the area of detected activity.

16.01.2022 A local body corporate came to us looking for a custom CCTV solution. They were having problems with rubbish dumping, vandalism and tampering with the vehicle access gate. The body corporate was wasting money each year on contractors to rectify these issues. The solution was a CCTV system connected to the internet via the Telstra mobile network. We custom built this CCTV system with an industrial 3G/4G/Wi-Fi router, mounted inside a lockable enclosure. An external LTE, Wi-Fi dome antenna is mounted on-top of the box to provide a reliable Telstra signal. By configuring a DDNS and VPN we can provide our client with remote administration and system monitoring. It sounds complicated but for the end user they simply open an application from a smart phone or computer to access the CCTV system.

16.01.2022 A few months back this was capsized and submerged in salt water. The boat was recovered and we replaced all the electrics. A new Suzuki motor has also been fitted and ready for seaworthy certification.

14.01.2022 Hows this before and after photo? We took on a job to install a CCTV system for a local business in Berrimah. Our client also tasked us to tidy-up the messy cabling in their coms rack to create space for the network video recorder. Challenge accepted!

10.01.2022 Australian Bay Seafood is another happy customer who have invested in a CCTV system. The package included 7 security cameras fitted around their business and a network video recorder with 8TB of storage. Installation was completed in 6 hours including network configuration and port forwarding for remote access via iPhone.

10.01.2022 Inventory scanners at CNW were causing grief due to poor cellular signal inside the building. Cel-Fi has again saved the day increasing the LTE signal to 100%. For those interested in pricing, the supply and install for this job was $1,725 including GST.

09.01.2022 Another happy customer and a great result today. We installed a wireless point to point (PTP) solution for our customer in Humpty Doo. The purpose of the installation is to provided internet access to a sub-divided home office. Wireless PTP can work over great distances and fast speeds. The maximum range of the hardware used today is 5km at 150mbps. The main benefit of wireless networks is that they are very cost effective. No trenching or long distance cables required. Generally speaking Cat-5 and Cat-6 can only run a maximum of 100m. Any distance greater then 100m would require fibre which can be very expensive. 06.01.2022 The growing need for connectivity has become an important resource for many industries. Connectivity enables communication between people and machines for many different applications. This week we finished working with Orenco Systems, Inc. USA and Envira Holdings PTY LTD on a new Wastewater treatment system. Our job was to provide internet connectivity for remote access into the control system. The internet connection is via the Telstra 3G/LTE network and allows email alerts... for system alarms. 04.01.2022 We visited James in Anula who reported intermittent TV reception problems after having his roof replaced. We relocated the antenna to achieve 20x more signal then he originally had. The old coaxial cable which dangled down the side of the building was removed. New RG6 coax was secured down the 2 story house in 20mm conduit. James was very pleased with our work

02.01.2022 Do you have a FM stereo with a crappy antenna you are always fighting with to get radio stations? Little do many people know that by simply integrating a FM antenna into your TV antenna system. It is possible to receive the 88Mhz - 108Mhz Australian radio broadcast range and TV channels at any TV point in the house.

02.01.2022 Finished up an install for a customer in Nightcliff today. He tasked us with fitting a new Kenwood headunit, reverse camera, subwoofer and 2x Alpine Type S speakers. We were really impressed with the pioneer TS-WX120A subwoofer. The unit is slim and has its own built in amp. In combination with speakers running from the headunit the audio balance sounded great.
