23.01.2022 It’s National Carer’s Week this week a chance to recognise, celebrate and thank our nation’s 2.65 million unpaid carers for the incredible work they do. So, we want to give a big shout out to all the carers across the Northern Rivers who give their time, love and energy to looking after a family member or friend in need. And to our local community organisations who support them Like The Buttery Family Counselling Program - a much-needed free service for local family me...mbers and loved ones of people dealing with addiction. Through this program, The Buttery are strengthening the resilience of family members so they can effectively provide care for their loved ones and aid their recovery. The NRCF is proud to support this program through our Capacity Building Grant. Many of us have a story you can share yours in the comments below or go to carersweek.com.au/your-stories #NationalCarersWeek #WhyYouCare #Connect #Community #LoveCommunity #BetterTogether #NorthernRiversNSW #NRCF #GiveLocal

21.01.2022 Every coin counts did you know, that since the Wishing Well was installed at The Farm at Byron Bay, an incredible $8,725 in public donations have been collected for the NRCF! That’s in addition to the personal donation of $5000 from Tom and Emma Lane, to established the Wishing Well in 2016 This month, the team collected $1,483 in coins! Thank you to Tom, Emma and everyone who has visited The Farm and dropped a coin into the Well. All donations that we collect are invested by NRCF into the General Giving Fund - to support local community groups doing inspiring work right across the Northern Rivers. #Community #LoveCommunity #BetterTogether #NorthernRiversNSW #NRCF #Helping #GiveLocal #TheFarmByronBay
