The community farewelled a long term member and Uke Rabbler with a few songs and strums at the Bowling Club a few weeks ago. We’ve served over 700 people in various end of year shindigs!If you are local business and left your Christmas party too late, we love to have you along for a corporate or end of year bash in the New Year! Firstly we loved having local business Officeworks over the Old Bridge for a roll. Thanks for all their support of the club this year with various scanning and printing jobs! Secondly the team at SV...ITZER who keep the Fremantle Port in operation. Great to have a local crew alongside for a sausage sizzle and a few ends. Merry Christmas from all the members and committee. 20.01.2022 Yesterday we welcomed present and past members of the North Fremantle Bowling Club to celebrate the 90th birthday of Marge Brown. Marge and her husband Rex were members of the club for many years and even had their wedding reception here in 1958. Marge held several committee positions over the years: Secretary from 1966 to 1968 and Ladies President from 1985 to 1991. As well as Ladies Pennant Team Skipper for many years. ... Marge was a long term resident of North Fremantle along with her parents and grandparents.
