The service will also be in part a Thanksgiving Memorial Service where we take the time to remember those we have lost during the period when we could not worship together. Please join us at 9.00am.

We're looking at holding a Garage Sale on Election Day, 28 March 2020. Like our page to keep up-to-date with what's happening.

03.01.2022 The North Rockhampton Uniting Church held a Carols for Compassion service on Thursday 12 December with Lillian Ndaya from Cameroon as guest speaker. This service is held every year as a reminder that Jesus was a refugee. Greater awareness of the problems in Cameroon was urgently needed, said Ms Ndaya. The English speaking areas of Cameroon are being targeted by the military, and people are being killed every day. Many thousands of people are hiding in the bush with nowhere to... go, and not enough food to eat. Some have gone to Nigeria as refugees, but it is not safe there either. Clarence Forsung from the Southern Cameroons Association Australia also spoke about the humanitarian crisis and its origins in the discrimination against Anglophone Cameroons. Rev. Matt Hogg said, We previously knew nothing about the situation in Cameroon, so this was an eye-opener. We hope we can spread the word about Cameroon and the need to help. Jesus was a refugee, so helping refugees is a key part of the Christmas message.
