25.01.2022 A reminder that we return to term 4 playgroup this week. Restrictions are still in place so we will be meeting Mondays- we meet at North Ryde Park ( corner of Magdala and Cressy) 9:30-11:30am. ... Wednesdays- we meet at Heatley Reserve (East Ryde Shops playground) 9:30-11:30am. See you this week

22.01.2022 Due to the poor weather forecast tomorrow morning and also the consistent rain today I think it would be wise to call off playgroup tomorrow. Fingers crossed for next week!

19.01.2022 Friendly mums, a relaxed atmosphere, awesome toys and a great indoor space... but how about this amazing outdoor area for the kids to play in! We are certainly lucky to be part of this playgroup! And We have spaces in our friendly Wednesday group!!! So if you are looking for a Wednesday morning activity which includes craft, songs, free play, plenty of toys and outdoor space to run around for the kids ( as well as some morning tea and some friendly mums to chat with for you) then please come along!

If you have a group of friends and you are looking for somewhere to catch up each week, without the hassle of chasing children at the park, playgroups the place to meet. We have indoor outdoor toys and a hall so perfect for any weather. Send us a message if you want more details.

05.01.2022 Hi all mums, grandparents and carers. Due to a range of challenges that have arisen from COVID-19 play group is going to look very different this term. We will NOT be meeting at our usual venue at Cutler parade. Instead this term we will be meeting at North Ryde Park (corner of Cressy and Magdala Roads next to North Ryde Oval.) Our meeting times will still be 9:30-11:30am on Mondays and Wednesdays. ... Play group is such a wonderful place to connect with others and not feel like you’re alone in the day to day life of parenting. I know a lot of you have been missing it and I have too! I am happy that we have been able to think of an alternative so we can keep on meeting together. As we will be meeting in a park we will need to cancel if it is raining. We will update you on this Facebook page when we cancel. Feel free to PM this page for further information.

05.01.2022 If ever there was a day that made us remember the importance of playgroup, This was it. Today many of our Wednesday mums and babies finished up playgroup as kids go off to preschool next year. It was time for all of us to reflect on the important role playgroup plays for us. From making new friends, to sharing triumphs and short fallings and saving us from the potential isolation of motherhood. In particular this year we farewell Kristy ( aka Santa’s little helper) whose y...oungest daughter finishes up this year. Kristy has seen 4 children through and has been a most devoted coordinator. We thank her from the bottom of our hearts. Thanks to all of our mums, carers, dads, grandparents and siblings for coming along each week, thanks to our volunteers who keep it running ( and for those who have volunteered for next year) and to our kids who brought us together. For some of us it’s farewell for now, as hopefully we will return with younger children, for some it’s just a Christmas break ( and I’m sure you will all gladly return in 2020) and for some it’s farewell. Either way I’m sure you will all agree cutler parade playgroup is a very special community to be a part of. As Kristy said: To me playgroup has always been my village, an activity i do for me as much as it is for my kids. Cutler parade playgroup will always be my special place and I hope that it brings you as much joy as it has to me. Thank you to everyone for making it so special.

Gather your class, daycare, kids, and alpacas around at 11am AEST, as 'Alpacas with Maracas' is read across the country.
