22.01.2022 Dear All, Good morning. The community's ongoing encouragement and support can never be undermined when planning any event that empowers each individual. It is ...their feedback, their suggestions and constructive criticisms that encourages us to strive for better and deliver projects and initiatives that are meaningful and effective. NSW Youth Forum brings to you a much-needed initiative 'An employment Information session via ZOOM.' Upon consultation with members of the community, it's been identified that it is a much needed to address the current issues related to workforce employability. The program aims to provide step by step guidance on job hunting and make individuals aware and familiar with processes and capabilities that enhance their chances of getting shortlisted. The program will include participation of HR Managers, Store managers, Area Managers in their respective fields to give you first hand experience and knowledge of their respective fields. This is an opportunity to establish networks that will be an advantage in your job-hunting journey. This platform is an attempt to bridge the gap between you and some prospective employers. It is highly suggested that you bring your current resumes as you never know, some of the participating speakers and guests may be on a lookout for a potential employee!! Our targeted industry experts come from the following sectors: 1: HEALTH CARE AND SOCIAL ASSISTANCE -Hospitals Nursing and Residential Care Facilities Social Assistance Others 2: RETAIL TRADE - Food Retailing includes Supermarkets - Motor Vehicle, Parts, and Fuel Retailing,Other Store-based Retailing. 3: PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNICAL SERVICES - Legal and Accounting Services - Computer System Design - Mechanical - Others 4: ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD SERVICES - Hotels - Motels - Cafes - Restaurants - Take-Away Shops - Bars - Others 5: CLEANING - Pubs - Housekeeping - Railways etc. Session also covers with Success stories as well as challenges from industry experts, business personnel and community leaders is what we can offer you on the day.
