24.01.2022 Here we go again guys. Another urgent gent needing your help. Meet Herbert. Herbert is a friendly and outgoing boy who loves meeting new people and going for daily walks! Herbert would suit a home with no other animals as he would like the spotlight on him, he may be open to making a few select friends in the future. Herbert is ready for a retirement and has been here at the shelter for 5 months now.... Poor baby he is doing well for a 10year old health wise and does not act his age :) Herbert would suit full time workers and everything in between, a couch to snuggle on is very overdue! Please help Herbert by sharing him far and wide and doing what you do.

21.01.2022 Sadly bubbles deteriorated so quickly his little body couldn't cope any longer and was given his wings. Thank so much for all your help. Taffy is still in need of a carer urgently.

18.01.2022 Today we sadly say goodbye to another one of our sanctuary pups. It is the saddest part of what we do being a special needs rescue, many of our Sanctuary dogs are in for palliative care. We can only offer the love and comfort right till the end. Today sadly Chino crossed over His tumor has grown and is seeping and has now spread . ... Sadly there is no more we could do at this stage and the kindest thing we could is hold his paw as he crosses over the rainbow bridge. I want to take a moment to thank an extraordinary foster carer who has put in so much time and effort to make sure these kids get all the help and support they need. Thank you for what you do. THANK YOU. URGENT REQUEST This also leaves us with a very sad but urgent request. We urgently need a foster carer who is home or able to take a small pup with them wherever they go. Mocha is not coping and now being alone will make it extraordinarily hard for him. Would there be a sanctuary carer for him urgently. He is timid but cheeky. Once comfortable he can be flirt and tease . Has a big dislike of cats if they are sharing the same space. Can be feisty with other dogs but could suit a gentle calm dog. His current carer unfortunately works full time and this will no longer work for Mocha now that he is alone. If you feel you are a suitable carer please send us a message asap. He is currently located in Newcastle area.

17.01.2022 Update Milo is in care and great home thanks for the share amazing wonder army. Milo 9.5 years had. A rough trot and really needs some good people in his life right now. 14.01.2022 Update sadly mocha joined his brother as his little body began to deteriorate rather quickly. TRES URGENT !!! MOCHA NEEDS A MUMMY OR DADDY. Our sweet Mocha just lost his brother Chino and is now in need of a new carer who can spend a great deal of time with him. ... His current carer works full time and although that was fine when chino was around, he has never been on his own before in his life and is really struggling with the transition. Her future foster carer must be out there somewhere.... Meet Kitty. Kitty is between 12 months and 18 months. she is a mix breed. she has come in super super frightened but has come out of her shell. she currently hangs out at the pound office with the staff. She can sit and drop and is very clever but the problem is she is also very fearful of strangers. Once she has met you and you have paid the treat fee of friendship, she is truly devoted to you and your biggest fan. She is still a puppy and can nip from excitement so will not suit a home with young children . Kitty is quite small at roughly 15kg . We can not take her unless an appropriate foster carer is found. 06.01.2022 OK TEAM, WE NEED YOUR HELP TO ASSIST A SPECIAL PAIR OF GENTS NEEDING A SANCTUARY HOME. PLEASE SHARE FAR AND WIDE. Marshmallow Bella Cocker Spaniel - Poodle Belgium Shepherd... Male, not desexed Male, not desexed 10yrs 11yrs These two were a reluctant surrender Marshmallow is completely blind Bella cannot walk very well and struggles to get up. Both dogs have been prescribed medication to assist them with coping with kennel life for the time being and pain relief. These boys are bonded and will need to go together, and we would love to get them out of the shelter environment as soon as possible. They are lovely old men and deserve a loving palliative care home do your thing guys, i feel like we can break our time record.

05.01.2022 Oh the sweet taste of freedom!! Brownie has officially been busted out and on his way to a comfy life with a devoted carer who burst in the seams with love for our dear Brownie at first sight. *Tears were shed* Brownie simply looked as if, "why are you late picking me up? I've been expecting you!!.."... with that, the little fluff bum jumped in the car and is enjoying smelling the air and the taste of freedom. He left a few RSPCA staff heartbroken but he took it all in his stride as he exited the building. A big thank you to all of you. This would never had happened without you. Give yourselves a sweet Pat on the back and raise a glass for a mission successful for today!!! Heres a glass for brownies future triumph and for all you angels out there making sure a little unwanted kid found a home.

He is now in real danger of possibly being put to sleep if we do not find a carer or forever home option for this lovely demi god by the end of January. ... He is a sweet kid, with huge bounds of energy and excitement. And Loyal to a fault. He will give you kisses galore and loves a good treat and belly rub. Apollos current condition means he is living off a chain on an apartment complex and not in a suitable environment. Apollo comes completely desexed, Vaccinated, Microchipped and wormed. He is an English Pointer cross (possibly Am Staff) He is located in Sydney He is sweet as nectar. Give apollo a chance to melt your heart and get off his chain. Apollo also comes with a year of free training and assistance to integrate him into your home as he will need consistent training to assist him to learn about a normal doggy life off the chain.
