24.01.2022 Calling all aspiring entrepreneurs, innovators, and change-makers! Applications for 2018 are now open for the On My Feet Social Enterprise Program, a leading Au...stralian university-based competition whereby participants form teams of 2-3 to create their own micro-business and raise money for charity. Through the 12-week program, starting 6 August 2018, students are supported in planning and executing their business strategies by industry professionals, with past representation from firms such as Macquarie Bank, Westpac, Chevron, Titan Digital, and Deloitte. 23.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who attended the On My Feet Strategy Roundtable Evening sponsored by Hawaiian. We heard from the best and brightest university students in WA as they presented and discussed their business strategies to sell orange socks, raising money to help homeless communities in Perth and abroad. Congratulations to all teams for some brilliant strategies and a big thank you to all the professionals, including Shadow Treasurer Dean Nalder MLA, who came out to provide f...eedback and a professional perspective to help students execute their strategies. Good luck to teams for the remainder of the program!

20.01.2022 Students are constantly thanking us for the opportunity to be involved in this program. Team 5 from the WA program (Nicholas Jones, Benjamin Fowler and Oskar Paino-Povey) stated in their testimonial, We gained very valuable entrepreneurial lessons we will be sure to take with us, such as the importance of consistent engagement with the business plan, alongside effective time management to ensure predetermined targets are achieved". The team also went on to say: The experie...nce of pitching was priceless, something I will personally take on board with my further endeavours. It was an experience I would recommend to any university student from any faculty, with any desired future career." We hope to continue to provide students with these valuable business skills in next semester’s program commencing in March 2018. 15.01.2022 On My Feet would like to applaud and recognise Curtin University students, Nicholas Jones, Benjamin Fowler and Oskar Paino-Povey, for earning the award for the Most Effort and Engagement in the 2017 program. This team looked at many avenues to attract funding and promoted the OMF message through multiple channels. The team adopted a time-intensive strategy that took a low risk approach to attracting funds and increasing awareness, whilst also looking beyond the socks microbusiness, exploring different ways of assisting On My Feet that had previously not been adopted by the charity. Well done team!
