22.01.2022 ON STAGE Performing Arts Competitions 2021 dates: Autumn Edition at Penrhos College, Rixon Theatre: Thursday 8th April - Saturday 17th April Winter Edition at St. Hilda’s Anglican School for Girls, Joy Shepherd Performing Arts Centre: Monday 12th July - Sunday 18th July... Spring Edition at Penrhos College, Rixon Theatre: Friday 24th September - Monday 4th October Final dates will be decided once all entries are received & processed to calculate number of days needed for each event.

21.01.2022 2020 proposed competition dates are as follows: April Comps 2020 Penrhos College, Como Starting Friday 17th April for as many days as required (depending on entries) but finishing no later than Sunday 26th April (final Sunday of school holidays). Entries close for April 2020: Monday 17th February 2020... July Comps 2020 St. Hildas, Mosman Park Monday 13th July Sunday 19th July (2nd week of holidays) Entries close for July 2020: Monday 4th May 2020 September/October Comps 2020 Penrhos College, Como Friday 25th September Evening if needed Saturday 26th September Sunday 4th October (1st week) Monday 5th Oct. and Tuesday 6th Oct. have been put aside Entries close for Sept./October 2020: Monday 27th July 2020 April 2020 info packages are going out to studios this week. 19.01.2022 Well that’s a wrap! 8 days of comps finished at our ON STAGE Performing Arts Spring Edition Competitions. A huge thank you to my wonderful family, my husband Joe & children Marcus, Michaela & Alexander. Michaela - worked night & day with me for months leading up to this very unique COVID safe event.... You are truly amazing & we are all so proud of you & your outstanding efforts. Thank you! Thank you to all the Principals & teachers from the 35 participating studios. We all worked together as a team to make this happen in these unprecedented times. There were many new safety measures & operating procedures put in place. All very necessary to meet government regulations & Penrhos College requirements. Thanks to all who participated for following our rules. Our top priority was everyone’s health & safety. Thank you to Ryan Sedgwick the Theatre Manager. As usual, always helpful, but going all out for us to run this event at the beautiful Rixon Theatre. Thank you to our wonderful adjudicators: Drew Anthony, Deby Holmes, Jayne Smeulders & Ashanti Bala-Suriyam. Such positive energy & comments, & an absolute delight to have on board. Thank you to our hard working scribes: Cathy Elphick, Natalie Templeton & Nicole Turner. All beautiful people who did an amazing job! Thank you to our huge team of staff who kept the whole event running smoothly. Well done! Thank you to my Theatrix Families & students for all of your support & hard work. Much appreciated! Thank you to our video & photo crew. A huge effort. To all who performed on stage - CONGRATULATIONS! Dates: Saturday 26th September through to Sunday 4th October (or however many days are required depending on number of entries etc.). We will email out our info package this week. 09.01.2022 ON STAGE Performing Arts Competitions April 2020 Update Due to Government regulations in response to the COVID-19 Coronavirus, our 32nd ON STAGE Performing Arts Competitions for April 2020 will need to be postponed until further notice. With only a few weeks to go, we were ready to operate our event in a different format and venue, to meet all health and safety requirements. Unfortunately, this is no longer viable at this time and the health and safety of all concerned is our... top priority. We will keep you informed as to when we will be able to run this event in the future. Following are our rules on refunds: #17. In the event of the competition not taking place for any reason, no responsibility will be accepted for any loss of time or expense incurred by the competitor. Where possible, alternative solutions will be offered. #21. All entry fees are non-refundable, other than under the circumstances stated in rule No. 18. #23. ON STAGE Performing Arts Competitions reserves the right to add or delete competition days or move competition locations, due to unforeseen circumstances. This includes in the event of a natural disaster. Where possible, alternative solutions will be offered. Entries will not be refunded. As our event is being postponed, not cancelled, some entry fees will be held in credit for our postponed competition event. As stated in the rules above, we are not required to offer any refunds. However, as these are unusual circumstances out of everyones control, we will be doing the following: - All registration fees will be absorbed and not refunded or credited due to the huge amount of work already done by our team and event expenses having been outlaid. - All entry fees for solos, duos/trios/quartets will be held in credit for when this event is allowed to run. - All troupe entry fees will be refunded to the Studio Principal, as we realise it may be quite some time before troupes and groups can rehearse together. - All paid pre-ordered programs will be refunded to the Studio Principal. We will communicate with Studio Principals individually over the next couple of weeks to put all of this in place. At this stage, we will cancel any plans for our July competition at St. Hildas Anglican Girls School in Mosman Park. We are hoping that our postponement of our April comp may get to run between now and then with our alternative format and venue. We will keep you updated. Plans for our October competition will be put in place, hoping things have stabilised by then. We thank everyone for their support and understanding during these difficult times. We wish all of our dance studio friends and businesses in the arts the very best for now and in the future. Stay strong and support each other. We cant wait until we meet again. 01.01.2022 ON STAGE P.A.C. April 2020 Refund Update We have been assessing the information regarding the COVID-19 Coronavirus daily. As youre all aware, this has changed many times over the past two weeks. We have made the decision to refund all April ON STAGE Performing Arts Competitions entry fees. This will be done over a period of time, as money becomes available this end.... As you know, we had already done all of the processing and sectioning, plus worked doubly hard to try and offer a competition meeting the Government regulations at that time. We had also paid out for costs that we wont be seeing back in the near future, or at all - so were more in debt with a comp not running. As per our rules, we do not have to offer any refunds as we were postponing the comp to whenever we could operate in any capacity. As the days go by and things keep changing, its obvious to us that we cant put any sort of dates in motion for a future comp. Who knows how all of this will play out? Therefore, we will refund entry fees as we can to each studio, over the next few months. Please be patient with us. In the meantime, we have asked studio Principals to email through their bank details. We will let them know when we have paid each refund into their account.
