25.01.2022 Fisher and Paykel have been through the wash this week, with further dip-buying behaviour as prices fell further despite a healthy earnings announcement. Woodside was also popular, after announcing a large scale plan to bring solar to their Burrup facility. Meanwhile, BlueScope steel felt the effects of falling steel prices, but the spot price of steel is now back on the incline. From ASX: "ASX equity markets will not open for the remainder of today. The underlying cause of this issue has been identified and a resolution path is in place to allow trading to commence tomorrow at 10am. Further information will follow in a Market Notice shortly."... *Original post* A quick heads-up that the ASX Trade Refresh program went live over the weekend, which has caused a downstream problem where the ASX depth is not updating. This appears to be a market-wide issue and affects order placement as well as cancellations and amendments to existing orders. The ASX has placed the market into ‘enquire status’ while this issue is investigated. We'll continue to keep you updated.
