13.01.2022 It’s been a long time in the making, however we are pleased to advise that the Centenary paving path in front of the original school building is now complete! There were a few holdups with the pavers along the way but these have all been resolved and the path looks amazing. If you aren’t local and would like to see your paver, comment below and we will post a photo. Thank you for your patience.

11.01.2022 To mark the school’s Centenary in 2017, an Oatley Public School mum and local artist, Ynja Bjornsson, helped create an artwork entitled Thumbs up for our Anzacs, which features the thumbprints of all OPS students. We’re thrilled that the artwork will feature in an upcoming children’s book called Remember, due for publication at the end of October. The book tells the story from a child’s perspective as they step into the shoes of people at an Anzac Day march to find out... why it is important to remember. The full page student made artwork features on page 12 of the book. The book is written by JE Miller, and the Sydney book launch will be held on Saturday, 2 November at Oatley RSL (more details to come), and students and parents are invited to attend. A special copy of the book will be presented to the Australian War Memorial on Remembrance Day and all proceeds from the sale of the book are being donated to RSL Welfare to help soldiers, past and present, and their families. 09.01.2022 The school has installed some funky new seating on the south side. It’s located around the front of the school and through the swales area.
