21.01.2022 A message from Mrs Shevlin. Thank you to everyone for your ongoing support and trust of our school. We have all kept safe and healthy this term, which is a great achievement. Despite all of the chaos around us, we have continued to function as a happy and cohesive school. Our students have continued on with their education. Our staff have ensured that there are regular sports events, special days, rewards and crazy dress ups! I have loved seeing the effort you have all put... in with dressing up the mad scientists, the super heroes, the crazy clothes, socks and all of the other mad ideas! I have really appreciated your ongoing support, as families of our school. It has been awful for you all, not being able to come in to the school, share in your children's successes, sport, fun activities, no special whole school event (always my favourite community event), the list goes on. I hope that we have managed to include you all with the sharing of social media posts and year group newsletters. We promise that we have continued to protect your children and in some way helped them to forget about what is happening outside of the school gates. At this stage I cannot inform you about any changes in restrictions until I have a firm directive from NSW Health and the Department of Education. I assume information will become more readily available after the school holidays, depending on the health of the community. Hopefully all of us stick to the safety measures in place. If we all keep ourselves safe during the school holidays and look after our health, hopefully some of the restrictions are lifted. It would be great to see you back enjoying and celebrating your children's achievements in person. I hope that you all have an enjoyable and fun time with your children in the holidays. Stay safe everyone and I look forward to welcoming our students back at school next term. All the very best, Donna Shevlin Principal
