05.01.2022 Hello everyone. You may have noticed since Victoria's second stage 3 Covid-19 lockdown, I have gone a bit quiet... well, we have restarted homeschooling so I have made the decision to focus on my family and my own family photos/history. I won't be posting regularly for now... but, if you need my help let me know. In my spare time, I have been working on my family tree and thought I would give the My Heritage photo enhancer a try. It is a great tool for the novice photo enthu...siast... my observation is that some of the enhancements can alter the facial features in some photos (so be careful with that) and the colorisation is not always correct (ie. my mother's bright green bridesmaids dresses became a nude colour), it does not fix tears, mould, creases and age damage in general BUT, for some photos, it did work beautifully. It's worth a go. Wishing you all the very best of health and happiness.

01.01.2022 Oh, I love this video! What a truly beautiful soul, this Mum raised a gentleman and a gentle heart. Yesterday I completed a photo book for my Uncle's upcoming 86th birthday, he has dementia. His photo book includes photos, names, dates, family trees, newspaper articles, a special page for each of his grandparents, his parents, his 8 siblings, himself, his wife, his childhood, his career. My uncle and his nursing home staff believe it to be a wonderful memory reference gi...ft. I feel sad not to be able to visit him (I live in Victoria, and he in Queensland). If any of you would like assistance in creating such a photo book or slideshow for your loved ones, please reach out, I would love to help.
