25.01.2022 Hi Parishioners, It has been a massive week for our Church, with the numbers increased to 150 at each Mass, Wedding, Baptism, etc. And now with the new online booking application running, it has helped a lot in taking bookings. Every Monday at about midday, we’ll send out an email and post on our Facebook page announcing that we’ve released the next weekend Masses for you to book. Please remember to add each person’s name attending with you, not your name 5 times this defe...ats the purpose of having a list of all attendees. For those who did that for any of the Masses this weekend, you’ll need to add the other names on the sheet when you walk into Church. There will be a Volunteer in the Foyer, a COVID-19 Officer to help you locate your name. Please find attached the Newsletter for this weekend, plus the Maronite Liturgy Times for the upcoming weeks. Please note that the Mass Centres in Bulleen and Dandenong will restart on the weekend of 12th and 13th December, not earlier as previously announced. Also attached is a document called Attending Mass. This is so that we all understand what we need to do when attending Church during these next few weeks/months. Though COVID-19 is much better in Victoria and we look forward to the easing of more restrictions, we must stay vigilant, safe and careful. Help us to keep our Church open by the following our COVID-19 Plan with us. Don’t forget the Bible Studies Session, On the Couch with MJ at 8.00pm tonight. 24.01.2022 Dear Parishioners, With the Government announcement last weekend allowing 150 people attend Mass, we’ve been working very hard to set up a new way of booking called Eventbrite. Click on this link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/weekend-mass-services-registra ... Click on Select a Date and the dates and times for that weekend; Saturday and Sunday will appear. Click register on the Mass you would like to attend and on the drop down menu, choose how many people (up to 10) will be attending with you. If there is more than 10, you will need to finish by clicking Register and completing all the names and contact numbers of those attending and tick the box Keep me updated from this event organiser, and Register. You can then start again to add the remaining people attending with you. The instructions are attached. Once you’ve finished, you will receive a confirmation of your booking and an order Number. A volunteer will have a list in the Church Foyer ahead of each Mass. Please help them find your booking on the list and so the names can be marked that you’ve arrived. We ask that you please be at Church at least 15 minutes before Mass, particularly this weekend as it’s the first time we’re using this system. Once your name is ticked off the list, use the santisers in the Church Foyer and go in to find a seat. Please note: only sit where it is marked on the Church Pews/seats as they are 1.5m apart unless you have a child with you. Communion will be given on the hand only and once Mass has ended, we ask that you go straight to your cars please do not linger outside talking. When we have a Memorial Service, the family offering the Service will have priority of up to 60 seats. We will also allow up to 20 seats for our Choir, which will be singing from upstairs and the remaining numbers will be open for bookings online. For Memorial Services, there will not be Condolences after the Mass and families are not to bring bread (erban), even if they are individually wrapped. Please note; the Community Hall downstairs will not be open until further notice. Finally, attached is a letter from our Parish Priest, Monsignor Joe Takchi in English and Arabic, as well as Mass times in the coming weeks. Please share these with everyone in your family, including parents or grandparents that don’t live with you, and we ask that you book for the elderly in your family or those that don’t know much about computers or the internet. Thanks and regards,

10.01.2022 Dear Parishioners, Please support the Chalhoub family by giving generously and sharing this Fundraiser Page below. https://givelove.org.au/give-love/to-chalhoub-family/

10.01.2022 Good morning Parishioners, We are in the Season of the Birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, and as we head towards Christmas, we are looking forward to more people being allowed to attend Masses in our Church. For the first time in our lifetimes, our Church doors were shut, and we learned to pray together at home by Livestreaming on Facebook or YouTube. Thankfully, we are in an age where we had this technology available to us and we’re grateful for all the technical support we’ve ...had along the way from our IT Technician Paul-Anthony Dabley. Like the rest of Victoria, we are slowly opening reopening, though with limits of attendees, allowing people to attend Mass, celebrate Baptisms and Weddings, and paying our respects at Funerals. So, our Parish will follow a COVID-19 Plan for the safety of our Parishioners, guests and visitors, including the wearing of masks at all times in Church and sticking to the 1.5m distance between each other. More information will be sent out next week and we ask that everyone follows the Plan to help us keep safe while we are in our Church. We will continue to take bookings for the evening and weekend Masses. Please find attached the Newsletter for this weekend. We hope you have a lovely weekend.
