25.01.2022 As part of the Year 3 HSIE unit Places are Similar and Different Year 3 has focused on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. Integrated with their Creative Arts unit they have used a variety of materials to create an underwater scene of the Great Barrier Reef. These materials included wool for weaving, foam for the sea creatures, and paint for the water #HSIE #schoolproject #greatbarrierreef #australianart #creativearts #primaryschool #olr #olrwyoming #wyomimg #nswteachers #diocesebrokenbay #centralcoastschools

24.01.2022 A big thank you to our wonderful OLR families, for your generosity towards the St Vincent De Paul Christmas Appeal. Our hampers were collected this morning and will now make their way to local families in need this Christmas. Thank you to the wonderful #Vinnies volunteers for presenting our school with a certificate of appreciation; we have proudly exhibited this in the office window for families to see. 22.01.2022 Recently, Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic School at Wyoming farewelled Father Raphael Kimaro as he moves to St Agatha’s at Pennant Hills. Father Raphael has been the priest at Wyoming for just over two years and his humble manner, the way he treats everyone, the respect and love he has for everyone will be sorely missed. Our Principal, Mr. Bernard Cumming, thanked Father Raphael at our recent end of year Mass and our student's hand-made some beautiful cards to present to Fath...er, who was very grateful for these cards #schoolcommunity #parishpriest #wyomingparish #schoolpriest #aliveandaware #olrwyoming #OLR #wyoming #primaryschool

13.01.2022 Today we celebrated our end of year Mass at OLR. It was wonderful to gather and reflect on the year that was 2020. We asked for God's blessing on those students, families, and teachers moving on from OLR next year and wished them well on their new journeys. Thank you to our extended OLR community for joining us via live-stream - we hope you enjoyed being part of the celebration. #aliveandaware #schoolcommunity #primaryschool #olr #olrwyoming #wyoming #centralcoastschools #brokenbaydiocese
