25.01.2022 Want to learn a little more about our wonderful Port River dolphins? We are very lucky to have about 40 resident dolphins that live here and call the Port River their home. In this video produced by Around Australia, Marianna from the Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary shares some of their incredible stories, locations where you can view the dolphins from land and what we can do to help protect these beautiful animals in their natural environment.

Just metres from the wharf, the hotel will feature 131 rooms on levels one to five, a restaurant and outdoor dining and 31 car parks. 23.01.2022 Exciting news for the revitalisation of the Port - work has begun on McLaren Parade’s $1.85 million upgrade. Located in the heart of Port Adelaide, the plan is to transform the street into an inviting premium boulevard that links to other projects in the area. The City of Port Adelaide Enfield are building a vibrant, green, pedestrian focussed environment that invites people to the area and encourages visitors and residents alike to use and enjoy the streets and wharves of Port Adelaide. Key features of the upgrade include creating low-speed environment that prioritises pedestrians and cyclists, greening the area, adding public spaces and street furniture, and installing new public art that is representative of the area.

As part of their COVID recovery, the City of Port Adelaide Enfield are running a 'PAE It Forward' initiative all October for PAE residents to take advantage of their favourite local tourism attractions, right here in our own backyard for half price. 17.01.2022 The Port is set to thrive with a recent announcement that Naval Group Australia will open a new office in Port Adelaide as it prepares to build Australias 12 Attack Class submarines at nearby Osborne. The announcement came as Naval Group Australia welcomed its 250th employee, with the workforce expected to increase to 1,700 by 2028. They are putting the finishing touches to their new Head Quarters near Harts Mill in the old TAFE SA campus. This program seeks to support local businesses and bring people to the area in a safe way. Come down with family or friends and make a day of it. Grab something to eat and drink from one of our many fabulous local cafes, ...restaurants or pubs, then explore the Port! There’s plenty of local shops and businesses waiting to welcome you, plus a whole heap of tourism experiences on offer from museums and historical buildings, through to tours and cruises. 02.01.2022 Great news for two of Port Adelaides tall ships the One and All and the Falie will receive extra State Government funding to help keep them in the water. The State Government will spend almost $1 million to help maintain the One and All for the next three years allowing it to continue its community events and youth voyages, whilst the 100-year-old Falie Ship will undergo a $185,000 refurbishment. Excellent news for the Port as both ships are not only an important part of ...South Australian maritime history, they are also important tourism and cultural drawcards for the Port Adelaide area.
