25.01.2022 Spread the word...DJ Bridgette playing at the Family Fun Day from 3pm on Saturday 16 November 2019. Come and enjoy the 'summer daze' by the water listening to your favourite tunes. There will also be a bar operating, a BBQ, emergency services demonstration and more. Stay tuned for more information on the day.

22.01.2022 Thank you Qantas for selecting the Outback Paddle Regatta Festival as a recipient of the Qantas Regional Grants Program. We are extremely honoured and look forward to putting the grant funds towards building a bigger and better festival on the 19 September 2020. Congratulations to the other community groups who were successful.

22.01.2022 Beat the heat today and come down to the Thomson River for the Family Fun Day starting at 3pm! There will be a BBQ and bar operating along with important information on disaster preparedness from Longreach Regional Council and the local emergency services teams. Also, ice-creams and a range of other drinks will be available from Twos A' Float. To get to the site, drive to Apex Park and turn right then follow the signs! 21.01.2022 Please be aware The Sundown Hoedown has been cancelled due to Covid-19 compliance requirements making it difficult for the Club to run the event as planned. We... had hoped by September the restrictions may have lifted further to allow for dancing at the event, the waterslide for the kids and other activities planned for the day. 20.01.2022 Yo ready for this? 'Get Ready' for the Family Fun Day on the 16/11/2019 which will also include a range of information on the importance of resilience for everyone. This section of the program is thanks to Longreach Regional Council and our local Emergency Services teams. The day has something for everyone, with free entry, emergency services demonstrations, a DJ playing throughout the day, the 'Just Right Wedgie' water slide, disaster preparedness information, delicious foods and drinks plus loads more. Make it a day to settle back into Summer on the water, whist staying up to date with the latest information from our local emergency services teams coming into storm season. See you there!

The course will run on the 5th of December hosted by Matt Bampton $600 for Boat & Jetski or $500 for Boat only ... 13.01.2022 A reminder the Australia Day event at the Watersports Club has been cancelled for this afternoon. Apologies to those wishing to attend, with the unpredictable weather and dirt road to the club we had to cancel the event.

09.01.2022 Come one, come all to the Sundown Hoedown to be held at the Thomson River 19 September 2020. This fun-filled event has something for all ages ranging from the 'Just right Wedgie' waterslide, live music, food stalls and a duck derby. An event not to be missed in 2020. Covid-19 restrictions apply, given these are unknown for September we are currently releasing 100 tickets only (in-line with 12/7/2020 Covid restrictions easing roadmap, further tickets released as Government announcements are made). Adult entry fee is $10 and children 17 and under free (excludes waterslide pass which can be purchased on the day - max weight limit 60kg). We look forward to seeing you all at the event!!
