23.01.2022 Recent QLD and NSW sightings update: Killer Whales Australia have received an enormous amount of information from the recent sightings of killer whales in QLD a...nd northern NSW. Working with Dolphin Research Australia and Out of the Blue Adventures, we have made some exciting preliminary discoveries which confirm that the two recent sightings are linked. We have also been able to match some animals to historical sightings dating back as far as 2013. We will continue to share information as our understanding becomes clearer. 22.01.2022 Such an epic day! We had huge heat runs with up to 20 whales at once and lots of Mums and calves

21.01.2022 These were taken last Friday 2nd of October offshore from Lennox Head & Ballina on our Whale Watching Cruises. It was very close to a year ago that we witnessed an Orca predation of a Humpback calf just outside the Ballina bar. On Friday another pod of Orca’s returned! Two successful hunts were witnessed of dolphins and what seemed to be another Humpback calf all in one day. It has been a lot to process and make records of this rare sighting with our Marine Biologist guide. We will be working through the photos and footage with @killerwhalesaustralia & @dolphin_research_australia to further our understanding of these incredible wolves of the sea. Stay tuned for more updates and photos!
