24.01.2022 I recently submitted two short videos I made to an Australian based #jtalent Japanese cultural video competition. The video length for the competition is limited to less than 2 minutes so I chose two appropriate clips. Check out this one called 'The Cableway' and wish me luck!: https://www.youtube.com/watch

01.01.2022 Whilst recently exploring remains of Sir Allan Taylor's 100 year old Wooton to Mayer's Point Tramway located just north of Bulahdelah, New South Wales, we came across this large fellow resting on an old sleeper. Snoozing in his patch of warm sunlight, he appeared not particularly pleased to see us so after some hissing and striking, he maintained his guard on the deep rock cutting sited between remains of two large curved trestle bridges at what is known as The Gorge. The LRRSA has kindly released author Ian McNeil's forensic examination of this fascinating timber railway into to the public domain so you can download and read all three parts here: https://drive.google.com//1nqRmHdwOVhEcG_fczNtkWtiaP7fCKAP
