Our first COVID wedding included a dedicated safety marshall monitoring compliance, distancing between guests tables, seating at all times and assigned places, definitely a first for a canapé wedding! Responsibilities include:... - Performing all food preparation & cooking duties - Performing allocated duties for shifts as directed by the Head Chef - Maintaining performance & quality standards during peak periods Essential Skills and Experience: - Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Chef/Cook in a similar environment. - Trade Qualifications - Commercial Cookery Certificate or Equivalent - A passion for food - Proven experience in a large volume kitchen - Knowledge of functions and bistro operations - Food Safety Supervisor Certificate desirable The successful Applicants will have the following skills and attributes: - Excellent people and communication skills - Knowledge of and experience with WHS & Hygiene procedures - Exceptional presentation skills and personal grooming standards - Able to work well as part of a team - Ability to work well under pressure - The successful candidate will be required to work varying rostered hours including split shifts, days, nights and weekends based on the operational requirements of the Club.
