22.01.2022 Premier Dan Andrews with today's update on COVID-19.

22.01.2022 Today's statewide COVID-19 update. The running average continues to fall and remains well within the range required to move to the next stage of easing restrictions. Stay safe, everyone.

22.01.2022 Todays statewide COVID-19 update. No deaths and another fall in the rolling average. Terrific work, everyone - keep it up.

19.01.2022 Today's statewide COVID-19 update. My thoughts are with those who have lost a loved one at this difficult time. Thanks, everyone.

19.01.2022 Today's update - another very low increase in new case numbers, but sadly two new deaths. Keep up the amazing work, everyone. Premier Dan Andrews has said the next steps will be announced on Sunday.

19.01.2022 Today's local COVID-19 update. Take care, everyone. The 14-day average is 44.4.

19.01.2022 There is only one new case in the local government areas that cover our community (in 3131) & no change to the total number of active cases (5 in Whitehorse; 3 in Boroondara & 6 in Manningham). The 14-day running average is down to 36.2. So - to end the weekend, I simply want to say thank you.... The work that you have done and the sacrifices you have made are incredible, and have helped our community get through this together. This isn't the time to let down our guard and sacrifice what we've achieved, because there's still work to be done - but it is a time to thank each other while we stay the course. When we're through this - and able to see each other again: I can't wait to thank you in person.

18.01.2022 Todays statewide numbers - another big fall in the 14-day running average. Incredible work, everyone. My thoughts are with all those who have lost a loved one at this difficult time.

17.01.2022 The pandemic has shown us that there's room for more support for the most vulnerable in our community. That's why the Budget included a massive boost to funding that will deliver 500 new jobs across mental health, family violence and child protection. As we move to a new normal - we need to make our community an even fairer place to live and that's exactly what this funding boost will do.

16.01.2022 Today's local COVID-19 update. Great work, everybody. The 14-day rolling average is 54.4 (down 2.5 from yesterday).

16.01.2022 Today's local COVID-19 update. A few new cases: one each in postcodes 3125, 3131 & 3122. The overall progress continues to be very good, with the 14-day running average now just below 40 at 39.3.... Take care, everyone.

14.01.2022 Another budget win Chatham Primary is getting a $5.4 million funding boost to modernise facilities and upgrade buildings including the already impressive music block - delivering the world-class facilities students and educators deserve. Thumbs up all round from the school!

14.01.2022 Today's COVID-19 update from Premier Dan Andrews.

14.01.2022 Today's local update - keep up the terrific work, everyone. Premier Dan Andrews will outline the next set of modest steps in reopening our community on Sunday. The 14-day running average is well down to 26.7.

14.01.2022 Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had the temerity to stand before a court that did not look like America and argue the cause of equality before the law. The court, back then, did not look like America. The jurists she faced, nine men, simply did not have the same background as her. But she had the audacity to bring before them an argument of equality before the law.... And five times out of six, she won. She was just getting started. The decades of service that followed paved the way for the fairer, more equal society that we live in today - though theres always more progress to be made. Today, and all days: may her memory be a revolution.

14.01.2022 Premier Dan Andrews is about to provide today's update on COVID-19.

12.01.2022 Local business and councils can apply for funding to help them adapt to a new normal thatll allow outdoor dining. As we head into the warmer months - itll make a real difference, and mean hospitality businesses can offer dine-in services in the safest way possible. Its done all over the world, and as a world-class city - theres no reason it shouldnt happen right here in Melbourne. ... A shout out to Cafe Rubix in Box Hill North ( below, taken before COVID-19). They've had to deal with even more challenges than most this year so I can't wait to support them again when we can. For more information, please visit business.vic.gov.au. Whitehorse City Council City of Boroondara

12.01.2022 Keep it up, everyone

11.01.2022 Some very good news to end the working week - 28 days straight without a single new case! A big thanks to all who made this incredible result possible.

10.01.2022 Terrific news as we head towards the end of another week of zero cases. Thanks, everyone!

08.01.2022 Todays statewide COVID-19 update. The rolling average is now in the 30s & new case numbers continue to fall. Well done, everyone. ... My thoughts are with those who have lost a loved one at this difficult time.

07.01.2022 Another low number - well done, everyone.

07.01.2022 Amazing. Despite much lower case numbers, my thoughts are with those who have lost a loved one. Thanks, everybody - lets keep it up.

07.01.2022 Amazing work, everybody! The 14-day rolling average is slightly under 57. Please remember there is a slight relaxation of the rules as of midnight tonight - you can exercise for two hours instead of one, the curfew is pushed out to 9pm & the social bubble will come into effect, giving people who live alone the chance to nominate one other person they can visit.... I know these are small and modest steps - but we're on the right path, and if this trend continues, we can make the big changes that we all want to see. Take care, everyone.

07.01.2022 An important update on personal care and beauty services - a lot of advocacy on this important issue has taken place especially on behalf of vulnerable individuals and I'm glad we can deliver a plan to reopen safely but sooner for these vital services.

06.01.2022 Premier Dan Andrews about to go live with the latest on COVID-19.

05.01.2022 Premier Dan Andrews with todays COVID-19 update.

05.01.2022 Premier Dan Andrews with todays update on COVID-19.

03.01.2022 Today's local COVID-19 update. Keep up the good work, everyone.

03.01.2022 Premier Dan Andrews is providing today's update on COVID-19. In case you missed it, 42 new infections reported in the last 24 hours and 8 deaths. My thoughts are with those who have lost a loved one. The daily average has dropped below 50, a key indicator for moving to the next step.... Thanks, everybody.

02.01.2022 A few new cases but overall the trend is very positive - the 14-day running average is now below 30. The new cases are in 3102 (1), 3123 (1), & 3134 (2). Please note the numbers may not exactly match where postcodes overlap multiple local government areas. Keep up the good work, everyone.

02.01.2022 Two major milestones reached today The daily running average is now (just) under 50 - a significant achievement because this is a requirement to move to the next step in easing restrictions. And - Victoria now has less than 1,000 active cases which means we're all a bit safer.... We're not through it yet but we've made incredible progress - keep it up, everybody.

02.01.2022 Rosh Hashanah is as special as ever - but this year, our celebrations will look a little different. Although we'd usually celebrate together - we still need to stay apart to get through this together. By staying apart, it means we'll be able to see each other sooner - and I can't wait.... Shana Tova to all Jewish Victorians in Box Hill and beyond.

01.01.2022 Amazing work, everybody - this is a terrific result. My thoughts are of course with those who have lost a loved one. Local numbers to come.

01.01.2022 Big news - Once we on the other side of the global pandemic, the Box Hill Institute will be more important than ever. Thats why were modernising teaching and learning spaces across all campuses and upgrading the existing hospitality facility.... This will give local students and educators the learning and teaching spaces they deserve.
