23.01.2022 Heel pain in children is common, and one of the reasons for this is due to a condition called Severs disease. Here is an assessment of Dr Ozs daughter, who suffers from this. https://youtu.be/FXXDEkVe_ZU

23.01.2022 Do you suffer from PAINFUL CORNS? Most people are very satisfied with Podiatry care when it comes to removal of painful corns. If you have corns and have not seen one of our Podiatrists, you should book in for treatment. It will relieve your pain considerably. A small number of people unfortunately do not get long term relief in pain, with the corns returning within a few weeks.... There is a permanent solution. We have put together a short video that describes the entire process https://youtu.be/XrQmMcl4I3k

23.01.2022 This patient presented to us with a painful, recurring ingrown toenail. It was decided that a partial nail avulsion (PNA) be performed as the most effective treatment option. Our podiatrist Huss was in clinic extra early at 7am this morning ready to operate! We can see in the before and after picture the depth of nail cut and cleared out to avoid a recurrence. This procedure has a high success rate and is frequently used to treat ingrown toenails. If you have painful ongoing ingrown nails book in to see us for a expert opinion and best treatment pathway. Call us on 4732 6062 or visit www.penrithpodiatryclinic.com.au #penrithpodiatry #ingrowntoenail #partialnailavulsion

13.01.2022 International Podiatry Day is today the 8th of October. This special day provides the worldwide podiatry community an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the good work that is done in providing foot and ankle care by podiatrists.

11.01.2022 What do we have here? Our lovely 4 year old patient came in for a foot and lower limb assessment. We discovered that he had Metatarsus Adductus and Internal tibial torsion. Metatarsus Adductus is a condition whereby the first metatarsal is deviated excessively toward the midline of the body and internal tibial torsion present as in-toeing during gait. We customised an orthotic device with an out toe gait plate to reduce the in-toeing and re-align the tibia and a metatarsus ad...ductus bar to limit the deviation of the first metatarsal toward the midline of the body. #customorthotic #metatarsusadductus #internaltibialtorsion #penrithpodiatry #childrenspodiatry See more

07.01.2022 Flat feet. It is not as simple as just a flat foot. 04.01.2022 https://youtu.be/3QMSB2j2tMo Treating a flexible hammertoe is much easier than waiting for the deformity to become rigid. Dr Oz demonstrates a tendon release using minimal incision surgery.

03.01.2022 Haglunds deformity refers to the enlarged bump on the back of the heel, which can become painful with excessive footwear pressure. If you have this condition, Podiatrists can treat this with padding, orthotics and footwear modifications. When conservative care fails, the bump can be removed permanently with a minor surgical procedure. https://youtu.be/l2mCJsk41o4
