Your local estimating knowledge and expertise will enable you to manage and coordinate Estimating and Tendering across a diversity of commercial and domestic construction for new build and fit-out projects in an efficient, can-do and pro-active manner. Skills and experience As a pivotal role in securing significant new commercial and domestic construction, refurbishment, interiors and fit out contracts the Estimator is a highly esteemed appointment. Therefore, you will work closely with management to establish and prioritise project objectives, understand resource capability and create solutions and strategic advantages in project delivery methodology that can be incorporated into the tendering process. Consequently, you will have significant influence and provide support and guidance to construction project delivery teams in execution, capacity planning, project scheduling and resourcing requirements and project manage your own contracts as project demands permit. The Estimator will have relevant construction industry qualifications and local Victorian experience in commercial and domestic building and construction estimating. Additionally, your ingenuity, knowledge of construction methodology, strong computer skills, attention to detail, commercial acumen and the ability to network with subcontractors and clients to achieve the best outcomes will ensure your success. Remuneration for this position will be negotiated based on experience and qualifications.
