19.01.2022 To all our valued Clients, An update regarding us here at PhysioCare Pty Ltd (Forest lake) for our clients. We are OPEN and closely following the guidelines set by the Australian Government Department of Health.... COVID-19 has presented us with an unprecedented challenge. Australians are being asked to take measures that weve never had to before things like cancelling travel, not going to concerts and general social distancing. You may be wondering how this affects your physiotherapy treatment. We at PhysioCare Pty Ltd (Browns Plains) continue to offer quality care for our patients as per the directive from Australian Government Department of Health. There are many things we are doing as professionals to minimize risk of exposure through rigorous hygiene practices and patient screening to keep you and our staff safe. So, you are welcome to come in for your treatment, subject to our screening processes. However, if you are in self-isolation or would prefer to minimize contact in any way, we have been advised in the coming days/week we will be able to consult with you via Telehealth. Telehealth uses digital technology thats readily available on your computer or phone to receive treatment from our Physiotherapists/ Exercise Physiologist. It is safe and effective, and our Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologist are trained to deliver Telehealth consultations. 17.01.2022 MEET OUR NEWEST RECEPTIONIST 'TAYLOR' Taylor is our Receptionist/Administrator working at both our Browns Plains and Forest Lake clinics. She is new to medical reception however she feels she is getting a good handle on everything, and learning something new everyday! Taylor works at our Browns plains clinic on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The remaining days she works at our Forest Lake clinic. She handles payments with Work Cover, Medicare, DVA and Insurance. For any queries regarding these areas or to book an appointment do not hesitate to contact Taylor at [email protected]!

Douglas Jones- Physiotherapist His experience as a physiotherapist has been diverse, including employment at public health service hospitals in Queensland and the U.K., as well as private practice in both rural and metropolitan settings.... He has worked in elite performance environments such as Defense Force bases and elite sport settings such as Fulham Football Club Academy in London. Whilst his work experience has been predominately within the area of musculoskeletal outpatients clinics/private practice clinics, he also has significant skills in Respiratory physiotherapy, Womens Health, Geriatric, Rehabilitation, Orthopaedic, Community physiotherapy, Occupational Health & Safety and Hydrotherapy. He has also gained experience in providing physiotherapy services to frail and elderly residents of Aged Care Facilities across Brisbane. 09.01.2022 VERTIGO- What is it? Vertigo is a horrible condition that causes a spinning/dizziness sensation which is often triggered by changing the position of the head. Vertigo can occur when there is a problem with the inner ear, brain or sensory nerve pathway. This can be temporary or long term, so if you have any symptoms of vertigo please give us a call on 3128 1399 or come in to our clinic and make a booking with Ashu.
