I just need one piece for our family, but live in Cairns so can't find anywhere to buy it from. My Nana used to have friends who would send her some from Poland, but she has passed away and I've got no idea where to get it from. Any help you can provide is very much appreciated!! Australian & Polish people have a great history together and have overcome many barriers, thus The Polish Club was formed. As newer generations have stepped up, we have different levels of understanding Polish. Yes, it's great to hear your voices, your laughter and your stories in the Restaurant.... However we find it a little hard to read some of your letters, but we're trying... Reading emails & letters in Polish takes us a little longer to respond to (it's outside of Google/Facebook's translation services) and as we don't want long waiting times, we respectfully request English be used with any written material to The Polish Club in order to respond faster. If not possible, hey that's okay too, as we'll do our best to tackle it... and yes we're reading every comment, every message you're leaving. We understand how you feel. "Our social cohesion is particularly remarkable given the size and diversity of our migrant intake. There are people from every single country on earth living here. Almost 30% of us were born overseas and a further 21% have at least one migrant parent"... "Technology has also been a key factor in allowing fake and malign informati...on to be spread quickly, easily and widely. I am not making an argument against technology. 08.01.2022 On this day 80 years ago, the RAF and Allies held off Luftwaffe's largest attack on London so far, which delayed and eventually cancelled Operation Sea Lion, turning the tide of the Second World War. Poles claimed 28 enemy planes shot down, 7 probables, and 3 damaged 14% of all enemy planes destroyed that day.
