24.01.2022 Evening all Sundays adventure is starting at the car park near Bills walk ( opposite Kepple Prince ) and walking to the Quarry Gates and the return to the cars along the road starting at 1:00 oclock then coffee and cake at PoC :)
23.01.2022 Evening all we were planning a run buddies dinner as soon as the isolation allowed but seating for groups at hotels is difficult however you can have up to twenty guests in your home so next Saturday we are looking to have a bring your own food ( pizza or pasta ) and drinks at Blankets home 92 Derril Rd Portland please let me know if you wish to come ASAP

22.01.2022 Food, coffee, alcohol, good friends !! When you have finished your Sunday session this is important! As many of the cafes are closed tomoz because of the power- Im wondering if you would like to come back to chateau Cox after your jaunt tomoz?? ... I can provide all the yummies if you want to bring drinks other than coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water and soft drink, Let me know your thought- always happy to have you and I will sanitise EVERYWHERE and everything before your arrival xx
22.01.2022 Sunday walk will be round the back of the smelter, meeting at the carpark where the conveyor comes out of the ground (past the golf course) 1pm just over 8k walking to quarry gate car park and return followed by the usual social distanced coffee opposite the Gordon.
21.01.2022 Evening all tomorrows adventure is from the quarry gates to Port of Call you can run the trail or the road, the trail is about 12km the road about 8km please time your run so we all meet up at PoC at 3:00 oclock for coffee starting time for the trail runners is 1.00 oclock
21.01.2022 hi everyone, this Sunday we are doing the smelter walk starting at the carpark where the conveyor come out of the ground before the road turns near the smelter, and returning on the road a little shorter than the last time we did this and we decided to start at 12-30 see you there think it is blacknose point carpark
20.01.2022 Morning all just a reminder Sundays adventure is our winter solstice run the lighthouse to lighthouse we are starting at the lighthouse at 12:00 oclock but if you are faster or slower try and work it so we all get to Port of Call for coffee and cake at 3:00 oclock if you think 13km is too far by all means choose a distance you can cope with
20.01.2022 next Sunday we were to start at Yellow Rock carpark and walk to Graemes walk and back along the road to our cars, due to restrictions it may not happen. I am still thinking of going, say hello if you happen to be on the trail at a safe distance of course. regards, Jan
20.01.2022 A special day today with our group doing 3 different courses one group ran the 25kl Lighthouse winter solstice course another did the blowholes to Bridgewater Cafe the last group did an 11km loop out to the quarry gates and back to Derill road a good effort by everyone and some stunningly good times by the Lighthouse to lighthouse group well done everyone. Next week its the quarry gates to Port of Call watch this page for more info re times and parking arrangements

19.01.2022 Hi everyone, this Sunday we are meeting in front of the Henty and ferrying as few cars as possible to the quarry gates and then walking back into town, hopefully this weather will have gone by then next week 12th does anyone fancy doing the lighthouse loop again? we can chat on Sunday

11.01.2022 hello seems my post regarding tomorrows walk disappeared so here it is SAMS LOOP in reverse meeting at the quarry gates for 1pm start the coffee shops in Bentinck st are all closed apparently and there is another post regarding this
11.01.2022 Genelg Moves is being held on June 27th & 28th lets get behind this and do something special on the day around the lagoon and see how many KMs we can collectively put up for the day. Run or walk as many laps as you feel comfortable with then post a selfy with the total laps completed lets make this a huge success :)
09.01.2022 Thanks to everyone that joined us today for our Corvid 19 Lighthouse to Lighthouse run we couldnt have asked for a better day or conditions 16.6 km completed by a few 12km by a few and a couple did 9 km then followed by coffee and snacks Port of Call no matter how far you ran thanks for being a part of our day see you next Sunday for a Blow holes adventure and coffee at Bridgewater Cafe

05.01.2022 Latest updated on parkrun situation from head Officer UK Parkrun Tom Williams- 30/06/2020. There no mentioned of when parkrun will resume again in Australia but in few day time NZ will starting up parkrun this Saturday. Good Luck to NZ parkrun.
05.01.2022 Afternoon all just a suggestion as I cant see organized events anytime soon and are still nowhere in sight, what do you think about some off us doing the lighthouse to lighthouse course on the 21st June we can do the full 15km course or we can stop at Port of Call it will require car ferrying let me know your thoughts
