23.01.2022 Some of you might remember James Moir from last years Reserves team. Recently the club have been shocked to learn James has been diagnosed with cancer. James was committed to the club not only as a player but had offered to coach the Women's Team in 2020 before COVID hit. James was also an advocate for men's mental health and was about to commence the Port Macquarie Men's Walk & Talk. We can only imagine how scary a diagnosis like this would be so young so want to do our bit... to help relieve some of his stresses. The club have established a Go Fund Me page to assist with any medical costs associated with his diagnosis and help relieve additional stresses. If you could spare any amount it would be greatly appreciated. James has also asked if anyone is interested in continuing his work with the Men's Walk & Talk to please let us know. 21.01.2022 The Port Macquarie Magpies are pleased to welcome Adrian Ryan to the senior club coaching ranks. Adrian has coached the juniors all the way from Auskick through to under 15s and now joins us as the under 17s coach. Adrian has been a Swans Academy coach for 5 years.... Join us in welcoming not only Adrian, but the players and their families that are set to make the transition from the junior club. Looking forward to a big 2021!

17.01.2022 Meet Your Women’s Team Coach for 2021. Braden Saggers. In the 2020 season Braden cleaned up the awards, taking home Best & Fairest, Players Player & Leading Goal Kicker.... Braden will be joined in the coaching role by 2020 team captain Kye Taylor. A few words from Braden and the experience he brings to the role; I’ve played footy my whole life and played senior footy all over Western Australia since I was 16. I’ve coached junior football sides before and captained seniors. Moved to Port 2 years ago. My main goal this year is to develop solid footy foundations and create a tight knit female side that will want to stay with the club for future years.

10.01.2022 The 2020 Annual General Meeting was held on Monday 19th October.At the meeting all positions were filled. It’s great to see some players from this season jumping on board. The mixture of knowledge the Committee will bring to the club has 2021 shaping up to be an exciting year!

02.01.2022 The Port Macquarie Magpies are pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Clarke as the senior coach for 2021. Matthew has had an exceptional playing career. Some highlights include; * Played under 19s for the Western Australian... state side * Played first grade for Claremont in the WAFL * Played for Sydney Uni in the NEAFL * Member of NEAFL state side in 2013 The club are excited by the knowledge he will bring to the role as a coach.
