21.01.2022 I tried not to hurry and to do anything without giving them good time and thought. I tried my best not to worry about the future. I just tried to care about the progress I was making in my life. I was just totally content to be aware of what I was and what I felt about my living. I kept praying peace and thanking God for giving me good feelings. I always prayed that auspiciousness be bestowed on everyone; Perfect peace be given unto all; Fullness in life be granted to all and... Prosperity be placed into everyone’s life. 10.01.2022 This morning when I woke up I remembered some of the things my father used to say about having faith in God and when he used to say, Son, trust God and He will take care of you I sometimes challenged him by saying, Taji, it is not that simple because I think God helps those who help themselves. However, in the light of present hardship we all face in this competitive and complex world I believe that both views are worthy of recognition because we depend on Him for all our... daily needs and cannot add a single minute to our life than what has already been allocated and granted by Him. Everything we enjoy, even the strength to earn a living and help ourselves, are gifts from Almighty God who loves us and values us beyond our ability to fathom. As my father neared the end of his life some ailments robbed him of his creative mind and memories but his trust in God remained. He lived in our home for a reason, where I was given a ‘front row seat’ to observe God’s provision for his needs in unexpected ways; ways that helped me see that he has been right all along about having faith in God. Every now and then we sat together, my father and I and conducted our prayers. Instead of worrying, he entrusted himself to the One who promised to take care of him. My father built within me that great trust in God that even today I feel that He takes care of me. I no longer dwell on my challenge that God helps those who help themselves because God is kind, considerate and loves to take care of us at all times. I thank God in all my prayers for His love, care and guidance. See more
