12.02.2022 Oh hi! So things have been quiet here for quite some time but you can find me more regularly ‘on the Instagram’ , if you’re so inclined

23.01.2022 It's been quiet here for while. The first half of 2019 has been a completely wonderful whirlwind - Just one piece of wonderful was capturing some memories of this beautiful, intimate elopement, not something we normally do - but my oh my, what a sweet day this was. #thewayhelooksather and #thewayshelooksathim #allthegoodstuff #greateasterndrive #eastcoasttasmania #tasmania #freycinet #saffirefreycinet East Coast Tasmania

21.01.2022 Just sharing some useful information from the ever switched on team at Kingthing Marketing

20.01.2022 It was an honour and a delight to second shoot for Kristy L Photography recently at Freycinet Lodge - it was a dreary and rainy old day, but spirits soared. We all got soaked through and it was a whole bunch of fun!

20.01.2022 Late last year, I got a little sneak peak at the new album from @PeteCornelius "Doing Me Good" - honestly, I don't even know if these images are any good, but I love them all because it was the nicest afternoon I'd had in AGES. This was one of the last sessions before the album was sent off to be mastered, beautiful Ange Boxall was adding some backing vocals to a few of the songs. Thank you for letting me be a fly on the wall guys - loved every second. so, shameless shout out: Pre-order at http://www.petecornelius.com, order on iTunes, stream on the usual places. Album Launch 16th Feb, Bicheno Town Hall. https://www.facebook.com/events/283848898992310/

20.01.2022 So my burning question is how are you doing? Really - are you ok? It feels like the whole world has been turned upside down - Are you taking care of yourself? How are you finding your calm? Is there anything I can do to help? For real. We are mostly ok, lots of things are messy AF but I find burying my toes in the sand helps a lot, watching the waves and sharing the serenity from a safe distance with friends . Surfing is good. And I’m practising my 3 dodgy chords on the guitar. I pick it up a dozen times a day - strum for 5 soothing minutes and then get on with the next job. I might almost be able to transition through the chords smoothly by the end of all this. Then I’ll sing you a song . I love you guys - stay in touch ok? #staysafe #eastcoasttasmania #greateasterndrive

19.01.2022 Cloudy, but definitely not cold and indeed, very easy to unwind in the vines at Craigie Knowe Vineyard on Sunday. #lifeonthecoast I tell you #itstough but #someonehastodoit . #eastcoastasmania #discovertasmania #tasmania

17.01.2022 We were beyond excited to work with Jono and Rob King at Kingthing Marketing and Jayne Richardson at Break O'Day Council to get this awesome website up for St Helens Mountain Bike Trails. We must give very honourable mentions to J.Da Seymour Photomedia for the stunning video and imagery, and Pedal Heads Inc - because they volunteered a bunch of time and are rad Have you made it to the trails yet? We're headed up ASAP! https://www.sthelensmtbtrails.com.au/

15.01.2022 When your favourite muso's play a gig 5 minutes from your house, on a rock, at a bay name Honeymoon, at sunset, and you can bring your family, ... go for a swim, and drink wine. Perfection. Pete Cornelius, Simon Holmes and Beau Thomas bringing Utopia to Freycinet. Wildcare Incorporated celebrations 2019 Thanks for sharing Pete. 14.01.2022 What do you get when you mix "1 part English Rose, 1 part Tasmanian Devil and 1 part gin-soaked Southern Belle with yours, mine and everybody's favourite blues man? Laughter, glee and delight - that's what. Oh, and "Guts, Grit and Lipstick" I am so very grateful for the grace and talent of these 2 humans Ange Boxall Music and Pete Cornelius - Music - be sure to book your tickets for the show at Junction Arts Festival first week in September. https://junctionartsfestival.com.au//guts-grit-lipstick-th #livemusic #tasmanianmusic

13.01.2022 There are days when I wonder what the hell I’m doing, spinning my wheels, catching moments few and far between, capturing memories that will only matter many years from now. And then there are days like this, when I get to witness five big hearted friends on their trip of a lifetime, fulfilling promises and dreams, and creating memories in the now, to treasure for a lifetime. Grateful to these beautiful souls off to do the @freycinetmarinefarm tour with @saffirefreycinet . #makingmemories #friendsforlife #eastcoasttasmania

11.01.2022 I took a little break, must admit, I didn’t mean to. I just kind of stopped. I stopped liking my work, so I stopped picking up the camera, stopped picking up the phone, stopped sitting at the computer, most enjoyably, stopped being social on the media . It was gooooood. I have a confession - I hit a big fat brick wall and needed some time away. I’ve been doing a little soul searching, a little research, and a bunch of learning and am looking forward to 2019 being a cr...acker year with some new projects underway. I’m not entirely sure where they will lead but with priorities now a lot clearer, it’s bound to be good. This fleeting moment was captured during a recent family session, it grabbed me by the heart strings with its light, colour and movement. It’s just a blanket, being thrown around a child, but it’s a moment of compassion, and love, glowing beautifully with the light of the setting sun. A movement worthy of reflection and gratitude. . .Happy New Year to you all, and thank you . #grateful #learning #selfcare #priorities #family #eastcoasttasmania

10.01.2022 Property photography shouldn't be a drag, and capturing the essence of this beautiful holiday home was ridiculously fun. Awesome Beach House Bicheno has a unique and enviable position, spectacular views and has been lovingly restored and filled with homely, comforting touches that are sure to delight. You should probably lock them in for your winter get away next year it will be bliss <3

08.01.2022 I have a beautiful friend named Nina, she is an exceptional photographer of love stories. A little over a year ago she invited me on a mission up a mountain for an engagement photo shoot. My job was to a) guide the way, and b) take some "behind the scenes" photo's. This couple already had a one of a kind engagement story, but when we reached the summit, we found there was more to add. These are a few of the images I managed to catch. Nina's spectacular collection can be fou...nd here: https://www.ninahamiltonphotography.com/alexandra-roland-en And if you would like to read the full story, you can find it on Sapphire and Somelier's blog: https://www.ninahamiltonphotography.com/alexandra-roland-en If you love a love story - be sure to go follow Nina Hamilton Photography :) <3 Images by Ros Wharton for Puddlehub.

07.01.2022 Our little island is once again under siege. My heart goes out to those fighting to protect their homes and families, I’m so sorry you are going through this. Fighting fires is shit. My heartfelt gratitude goes to the firefighters and their families for the courageous and heroic work that they are tasked with. Stay safe beautiful friends. #redballoonsalute #firefightersareheroes #firefighters #thankyou Image from #fovcoastal 2017 - red lantern lit by a volunteer firefighter

05.01.2022 I'm embarrassed to admit, I had no clue that the Pademelon Park Wildlife refuge existed prior to this project. It was a pleasure to meet Geoff & Vicki, the care they provide for their rescued animals is amazing, (I would have been happy to drink from the water bowls!), and they do it largely self funded and on a shoestring budget. Every year, Nick & Arabella cook Paella at the Bicheno Food and Wine Festival to raise awareness and funds. Thank you to Bicheno Food and Wine Fe...stival, and Hype tv for inviting me on to this project. It's such an honour to be a part of sharing this very "East Coast Tasmanian" story of friendship, kindness and paella. If you'd like to donate, you can go to this website: https://pademelonpark.com.au/donations-page/ If you'd like to read more: https://eastcoasttasmania.com/2019/06/meetthemakers/ (Thank you East Coast Tasmania for helping spread the word!) #bichenofoodandwinefestival #discovertasmania #greateasterndrive

01.01.2022 Bittersweet summer days and smoke haze. Little caught her first wave on this day, Mr Hub was pretty emotional. He’s waited patiently for 8 and half years, never pushing, encouraging only by continuing to do that which makes his heart sing and mind quiet. She fell in love too. I didn’t let on, but I shed happy tears for them both. Meanwhile - this memory would normally have Swansea in the background, instead, we are gently reminded to be grateful for all that we have not lost, and generous to those who have not been so lucky. #eastcoasttasmania #colesbay #freycinet
