25.01.2022 How good is this? All set for the winter, cozy, having fun and playing bridge on BBO. Many thanks to Charles Page and those Qld organisers who have given us the opportunity to play online sessions with our clubs. Belated happy 21st birthday wishes to Charles Page. Ps. We are really not playing online but we just created the scene for our message.

24.01.2022 This week's sessions: The QCBC Thursday tournament is 10am. QCBC Friday tournament is 1pm and members and their partners only.... The Qld Novice session is 1pm Thursday. Qld Pairs Saturday 2pm.

It was the only time Qld has won the Open.... Kevin Hume, Paul Lavings, Jim Wallis, Brian Blyth, Richard Ward, Bill Hunt and Reg Busch (NPC). Richard has managed to find an interesting hand his Open team played in 1987 at the ANC. Many thanks to Richard for sharing.

18.01.2022 BBO sessions this week: NEW for the Novices Tuesday 26 May - 1pm & 7pm... Wednesday 27 May - 7pm Thursday 28 May - 10am And a new session this week for QCBC members and partners ONLY - Friday 29 May - 1pm - 6 minutes a board. Toni would appreciate your feedback and suggestions (constructive) for our BBO sessions. Would Sunday afternoon or Friday night be a good time for another session? I can also help organise team matches and show you how to organise your own, if anyone wants to play - only 2 tables. When the clock is set at 7 minutes a board, if everyone has finished, the system moves you to the next round. So the round is only as long as the slowest table. The Friday session will be 6 minutes a board. Thank you to members who have been helping Toni at the club. (yes, social distancing was not a problem). Terry Clarke, Lou Stanley, Annette Hogan and Patrick Bugler. There is room in the club for more helpers if you are bored at home, just give Toni me a call - she is at the club most days. Thank you to Greg Secomb who helped us out in an emergency. Greg is a member of the club and a plumber/builder. Thank you to Jenny Thompson for organising the Mentor and Novice Thursday night. Jenny puts a lot of time and effort into it. The next Mentor and Novice session is Thursday 4 June - 7pm.
