09.01.2022 Approaching our 13th season, Perth-grown Heavenly Strawberries produce almost 600,000 punnets each year, with the 2020 harvest available from August on local retailer shelves. This super-sweet brand was started by Quality Produce over a decade ago and continues to be a WA favourite for its sweet flavour and glossy appearance. Scott Williams QPIs Berry Category Manager, puts Heavenly Strawberries success down to not just the taste, presentation or aroma, but also the ...careful handling and Brix sugar testing to ensure its guaranteed sweet taste. Our berries are handpicked, and the grower does what we refer to as a double-pack. The first wave of packing they go through is for the Heavenly pack where they pick out fruit that meets the Heavenly standard - its all hand-selected. Our growers the Lieu family already had the expertise in growing this particular variety and we identified early on their fruit was something special. They respect the brand and are consistently able to deliver incredible quality fruit, which has as much to do with the brands success as the marketing itself.
