25.01.2022 Started rough in this week for this Hamptons style new build in Mount Martha. Excited to see the finished job!

25.01.2022 We completed a LED lighting upgrade today, we replaced 18 70w light fittings with 35w surface mounted LED fittings and 24 50w globes with 8w LED globes. That's a total saving of 1638w Last photo is the ugly light fittings we replaced. @ Bendigo, Victoria

25.01.2022 Here's a renovation we just recently completed. The kitchen, laundry and bathroom was fully gutted and all joinery was replaced. We installed Hager Silhouette power points and switches throughout in matte black and plain white. We also installed LED strip lighting in the bedroom cupboards operating via reed switches. Reed switches are used so the lights turn on only when the cupboard door is opened.

24.01.2022 New meter panel enclosure installation & mains upgrade We removed and replaced this client's old enclosure, upgraded the incoming consumers mains to provide this house with more power and put all the house circuits on safety switches. 23.01.2022 This week we completed undergrounds for our next project, 3 new town houses in Highett. Certificates competed, inspector signed off and Electrical works requests lodged. Hopefully have power out here in the next few weeks just waiting on the power authority to come out to connect now. Just have to wait for the roof to be finished and then we can start rough in. ... @ Highett, Victoria, Australia

22.01.2022 Here's a cool job we did today at Beyond Rest in Prahran. They got us out to solve an issue with not being able to dim the downlights low enough to create a nice low ambient light setting. With a bit of problem solving and testing we re-wired the rooms, replaced the dimmers with Clipsal LED dimmers and installed a load correction device. A load correction device provides improved dimming performance and load stability for dimmable LED lighting loads, it is also designed to reduce flicker.

21.01.2022 Here's a switchboard upgrade we did a few weeks back, now every circuit is protected by a safety switch circuit breaker combination (RCBO) Circuit breakers protect an electrical circuit by quickly cutting power when there is a high current fault or overload that may cause a hazard. They do not protect against electric shock. A safety switch is a device that quickly switches off the electricity if an electrical fault is detected, minimising the risk of injuries and death due t...o contact with electricity. Prior to the upgrade this house had majority circuit breakers with a few circuits on a safety switch, however it was overloaded on one safety switch and not up to standard. Now this family can have peace of mind that they're also protected against electric shock. If you're unsure if you board is protected, feel free to send me through a photo of your board and I would be happy to assist. @ Caulfield, Victoria, Australia

20.01.2022 Here's a job we completed this week. We installed some chandeliers, pendant lights and adjustable downlights in this heritage home with high ceilings and period features. I really love the entrance on this one, the chandeliers and the exposed brick are a real statement @ Ripponlea, Victoria

20.01.2022 We helped bring this Victorian style home back to life. Electrical work included: Some re-wiring, we removed and kept the original light fixtures to re-install after the restoration of the ceiling and the addition of the ceiling rose. We added some downlights for extra lighting, replaced power points throughout and installed these new federation style switches. @ Footscray, Victoria, Australia

19.01.2022 Some nice pendant lights we recently installed for a return customer @ Clyde, Victoria

19.01.2022 New powerpoint for our brand new coffee machine. The kitchen in our new home has really high power points () and the cords looked very messy, so we ran new cables and perfectly placed a powerpoint just for our new purchase. Looks much neater and the coffee is amazing.

18.01.2022 **HOW TO TEST YOUR SAFETY SWITCH** Press the 'T' or 'Test' button inside your switchboard and check all of your lights and appliances have turned off. Everything that has turned off is protected by that safety switch. Now simply turn your safety switch back on and you're done.

18.01.2022 We completed this reno in Bonbeach yesterday. It's come together really nicely. It was a treat to work here with that view too. @ Bonbeach, Victoria, Australia

17.01.2022 This customer had their house broken into a few weeks back so today we installed a security camera system. We installed 4 6MP turrets on an 8 channel NVR. They have room to add another 4 cameras to the system in future if needed.

17.01.2022 Another rough in we just recently started; 2 double storey townhouses in Bentleigh.

16.01.2022 I've been installing a few of these twin USB points lately. They're perfect for charging your phone or tablet without the hastle of finding a spare power point. Photo credit @clipsalaus

16.01.2022 Our newest apprentice...for the time being at least. My partner designs for hospitality venues and is out of work until May so she's giving me a chop out to get a job over the line. . It's really trying times at the moment but luckily for electricians, as far as I'm aware, we are an essential service. . I'm still taking bookings but ask that if you're recently back from overseas or unwell let me know so we can reschedule. @ Narre Warren, Victoria

16.01.2022 A recent install we did. We installed a 5 camera cctv system. This customer, if they need to, can view what's happening outside their home via the app on their phone. . This is a great system to consider if you're wanting some extra security. We've had lots of enquiries about security cameras this year as crime rates have increased since Covid lock downs. Get in touch if you'd like a price on a system.

15.01.2022 Security camera installation for Range Brewing in Abbotsford We installed an 8 channel NVR with 3TB hard drive and 4 8MP turrets As you can see the quality of the 8MP turrets is crystal clear ... Connected to the internet the cameras can be viewed remotely from phone or tablet from anywhere in the world. And yes we enjoyed a knock off beer after a hard day's work

15.01.2022 Need an oven or cooktop installed? We can install any electrical appliances.

14.01.2022 This photo is a work in progress shot, I have set up a laser to keep this track light in a perfectly straight line, parallel to the wall @ Bentleigh, Victoria

14.01.2022 Before and after photos of a switchboard upgrade we did yesterday. Now every circuit is properly protected and the customer can have peace of mind knowing their shop is compliant with the latest safety standards.

12.01.2022 This customer needed good WiFi throughout their 2 large factories. . We recommend and installed 4 Unifi AC Lite wireless access points. These access points can provide wireless signal up to 120m with a clear line of sight. . Due to this factory being a storage factory with boxes stacked 11m high to the roof we installed an access point in the centre of each isle.... . We achieved perfect wireless signal throughout the entire factory. The access points also mesh together so as you move around the factory you connect to the best signal with no drop out whatsoever. . These are also perfect for the domestic home if you do not get a good wireless signal throughout the whole house. . If you would like to know more get in touch @ Braeside, Victoria, Australia See more

12.01.2022 Completed the undergrounds for a new build in Mount Martha yesterday. Dug the trench and dropped the cables in ready for the slab next week. After the slab is down we can install the meter panel and apply for power to be connected. @ Mount Martha, Victoria, Australia

09.01.2022 Rough in completed for this shed Today we installed 7 150w led high bays, 1 50w led floodlight & ran wiring for 8 double powerpoints, 6 led downlights and a ceiling fan. Now to wait for plaster and then we can come back to fit off.

09.01.2022 Pool job: Earthing and power to the pool The steel rio of the pool structure (shown in photo 2) is required by regulations to be bonded to the earthing system of the electrical installation to avoid potential differences in voltage. In this case we ran a 6mm2 earth cable directly from the switchboard to earth the metal rio for this pool. Earthing systems are required to provide an alternative path for dangerous currents, so accidents due to an electrical shock or damage to ...equipment can be avoided. @ Somerville, Victoria, Australia See more

09.01.2022 LED garden lights to light up this entrance path and driveway at night @ Malvern East, Melbourne

09.01.2022 We completed a LED lighting upgrade for Blue Illusion clothing store. We replaced 17 tilt shop lights, 24 downlights and the front light box sign. The old shop lights were using 2550 watts. We replaced them with LEDs which now use 680 watts. The downlights were using 1200 watts and now with LED equivalent are using 228 watts! That's a huge power saving!!! Even better, the shop lights have a 5 year warranty while the downlights have 7 year warranty. ... 08.01.2022 LED strip lighting to help get rid of shadows and light up the kitchen bench. Aside from its functional purpose, LED strip lighting has the added benefit of creating a wonderful ambiance from the light bouncing off the kitchen splashback. We also installed the Clipsal Saturn power points in Ocean Mist on the new stainless steel splashback.

02.01.2022 We recently completed all the electrical work on The Clinic Footscray. The clinic was a pre-existing double storey building which was completely gutted and renovated. . There were a lot more regulations to adhere to with this medical clinic such as, body protected power points, cleaners power points and RCD switches are required in each room rather than at the switchboard, incase of emergency. . This project kept us busy over the lock down period which was a blessing. ... . Builder: Zone 1 Construction Architect: Mark Richards Architects @ Footscray, Victoria, Australia See more
