21.01.2022 It's on again this weekend at the public jetty, Port Douglas Santiego selling prawns Condermine selling fish. You know its fresh and local, good as it gets! Saturday 3rd from 7am and Sunday 4th from 8am.
20.01.2022 Have you heard the joke of Marty the Mudcrab? "Morton is down by the river... He catches a mud crab, opens the boot of his car and puts the mud crab insid...e. He puts the boot lid down and a fisheries officer jumps out the bushes and starts yelling "I GOT YOU! I GOT YOU! I saw what you've got there. You've got a mud crab in the boot and it's out of season." Morton looks stunned and replies "No way, mate!" Morton opens the boot and there was the mud crab. The fisheries officer tells him "I'm gonna have to fine you for this." Morton says "Nah mate, it ain't what it looks like. This my pet mud crab.. I bring him down here every day for a swim." The fisheries officer replies "B*llsh%t!" Morton explains to the officer "Yeah mate, his name is Marty, mate. He is my pet mud crab. I'll show you. I'll give him a swim and he will come right back." He grabs the mud crab and puts him in the water. The mud crab paddles away and disappears. The fisheries officer looks at Morton and says "Well, come on Morton. Where is he?" Morton replies "Where's what??"
