21.01.2022 I urge you to listen to this bloody excellent podcast episode featuring Enoch Mailangi, Nayuka Gorrie Witt Gorrie and the creation of a beautiful Blak queer family. It’s one of my favourites of the Queerstories 2020 series. Maeve
20.01.2022 If you do one thing today, make it listening to this truly brilliant pair of stories by Queenie Bon-Bon and Freudian Nip.'s Victoria Zerbst. From the paranormal to the pathological, this episode of Queerstories 2020 is themed Haunting. Skip all the 'looking back on 2020' articles this and instead get a queer take on the year that's been with this podcast series of stories written during lockdown. This is episode 7, with 5 more to go, so make sure you subscribe while you're there.
18.01.2022 Today's Queerstories 2020 episode features Trent Wallace and, for the first time on the podcast, Queerstories host and curator Maeve Marsden (hi, that's me, I'm obviously typing this, who can afford a marketing manager in this economy). The stories are about the risks we take, with both positive and disastrous consequences. Happy listening, please subscribe, and if you enjoy Queerstories, consider supporting the project on Patreon: http://www.patreon.com/ladysingsitbetter
17.01.2022 Today's Queerstories episode spans polyamory, porno bingo, lockdowns, lovers and the Mahabharata. Brilliant stories by Atul Joshi and Sarah Asumadu about connection, to culture and community, and through desire. Make sure you rate, review and subscribe, and if you love Queerstories and want to help me cover the costs of producing and editing the podcast, consider signing up to my Patreon for as little as $1 per month: https://www.patreon.com/ladysingsitbetter
14.01.2022 On the weekend a gorgeous group of trans women and allies gathered at McIvers Ladies Baths to say #LetThemSwim, after the committee running the baths published a divisive and transphobic policy on their website. We want the committee to apologise for the policy and ensure the pool remains welcome to ALL women. Please sign the petition.

03.01.2022 A reminder that you should listen to this week's wonderful Queerstories episode featuring Atul Joshi and Sarah Asumadu exploring connections they made before and during lockdown. The Queerstories 2020 series, supported by the City of Sydney, has some truly beautiful, warm and funny writing in it. Make sure you check it out.
01.01.2022 If you're stuck indoors due to rain or covid restrictions, a reminder that you can listen to a bunch of wonderful stories that were written and recorded in lockdown last year on the Queerstories podcast. Start with this one then make your way through!
