25.01.2022 Today, on the 11th of November, we remember. 102 years ago, World War One ended, and we show our respect for the soldiers that fought for us in the war. Our children are participating in activities to remember and honour these brave soldiers. This morning, we create a wreath, made with poppies and hand print greenery. Our children made a wall of acrostic poems and words of respect to honour their memory. ... Take a minute of silence at 11am today to remember not only those lost, but all who came home and also those who follow in their footsteps.

20.01.2022 Term 4 - Term Project This term we have two new term projects available for the children to sign up to. Project 1. ... The first project is Garden to Recipes, where the children will have the opportunity to grow herbs in the OSHC garden and over the term the children will have the responsibility of keeping the herbs alive and over the term the children will see how the crops have grown over a period of 7 weeks. Towards the end of term, we will then pick some of our crops and make two dishes using the fresh produce we have grown. Project 2. The second project which will be on offer is creating a play or musical. The children will be put into groups and will choose whether they want to make up their own play or use a musical which has already been made. Over the term the children will have to work hard in practising their lines, preparing their props and costumes, and using their imagination to create a play, we will also be engaging the children in using technology to record, edit and develop their video. We hope that the children enjoy this term and the term projects before the end of year.

09.01.2022 It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of Quinn Care OSHC, due to the Catholic Diocese not renewing the lease on our centre. As we approach our 5 year anniversary and knowing the hard work that has gone into building the business and wonderful relationships with our families over the years, we are saddened to close our doors in June. We are forever grateful for the exceptional support and relationships formed with children and families throughout the many wond...erful years at Quinn Care. We would like to thank each and every one of our children and families, past and present, for all the support you have given us during the last 5 years.
