20.01.2022 Not sure what brush to use for what and which to purchase? Have you ever found yourself in the makeup store looking at the wall of brushes and feeling so overwhelmed that you dont what they are all for or which to even purchases? Rest assured you are not alone!... Over the coming days I will be sharing with you some different brushes, their use and what I would recommend purchasing if you are establish your own personal brush set. Do you have a favorite brush? Comment below and let me know what makeup you apply using that favorite brush, Id love to hear! Mine would have to be a fluffy blending brush for eyeshadow. I love to ensure that their is a seamless transition between the eyeshadow and the base!

10.01.2022 Foundation brushes..... What do they look like and what are they used for? Used to apply and blend out liquid and cream foundations on the face. Tip: When colour matching your foundation, check the colour on your dcolletage and not your jawline. Our face is sometimes slightly lighter than our body so matching it to this area will mean when you blend the foundation down your neck you will have an even finish and avoid that dreaded foundation line!... 10.01.2022 Have you ever found yourself applying your foundation wondering is this the perfect match for me? Dont stress any longer! I am going to share some tips with you. You may have seen a little while back I posted a tip about this. If you missed it, thats okay as Ill be including that same tip here along with a couple more The best place to colour match is on your dcolletage and not your jawline! Our face is often slightly lighter than our body for a number of different reas...ons. Just one of those reasons being that a number of foundations contain an SPF and while we should practice sun safety and apply sun cream to all areas of skin exposed to the sun, we often dont! Therefore our body can be a smidge darker. Also when you fake tan, the tan on our face tends to wear off faster than our body. When colour marching, you want to look for the foundation that when applied to your dcolletage you cant see it. Once applied if you struggle to see it, than you have found the perfect shade for you! Another tip is to check the colour match in natural light. When checking it under artificial lighting, for example fluro lights which are found in almost all stores, they dont allow the eye to see the true colour of the skin. This means that when you are in store it looks perfect but as soon as you step outside into the natural daylight, it is highly visible meaning it is NOT the perfect match! Now that youve found the perfect shade for you, remember as you matched to your dcolletage you want to blend the foundation down your neck to avoid that dreaded foundation line. 08.01.2022 Do you want to know what a grey/black smokey eye makeup looks like? Continue watching to see and enjoy! Tip: when using dark eyeshadow powders, I do the eyes prior to doing foundation. This makes it much easier to clean up and fallout from the powders under your eyes as you can wipe it the area with some micellar water or a baby wipe before applying your base and other products for a flawless finish! I had already been playing with makeup before filming this so had done my foundation. To clean up any fallout I had, I used a large fluffy powder brush and gently swept it under my eye before applying a little concealer to to get a clean finish!

08.01.2022 How often should you clean your makeup brushes? Are you someone that cleans them after every use, are you someone that cleans them once a week or are you someone that rarely washes them......? When you think about it, you wash your bed sheets, towels and even your bath mats regularly (most likely weekly) so it should be the same for your makeup brushes.... If you dont regularly clean your brushes, oils, dirt and bacteria will build up on them over time and each time you touch your face with them you are putting this onto your skin. As you are only using them on yourself, weekly would be sufficient. There are a number of ways you can clean your brushes and to help, I have put together a little IGTV. This will be posted later tomorrow so keep an eye out for it and leave me a comment on it if you find it helpful. *some of my favorite makeup brushes pictured here by @makeup_weapons
