25.01.2022 Probably the best Ube cheese pandesal Ive had to date. Soft ube flavoured pandesal with generous stretchy cheese in the middle. Freakin love em! Got it from Pinoy Stop Doonside and supplied by J & K homemade bread and cookies. If any of my Sydney followers know the folks from J & K please tell em I love their Ube pandesal.

22.01.2022 Takeaway gyokai tonkotsu ramen from @gumshara minus the menma and egg. Still my favourite gyokai tonkotsu ramen in Sydney. Thick and smoky with a lot of freakin umami. Love that Im able to enjoy Gumshara ramen at home.

15.01.2022 Finally got to try @chaco_ramen s quail ramen special. Best new wave style ramen Ive had in Sydney to date. Quail base broth seasoned with shio tare. Topped with quail eggs, quail chashu, negi, special crunchy thick menma and yuzu kosho for the quail chashu. Noodles were cooked soft to al dente to match the light broth. Complex with lots of umami. So refined.

10.01.2022 One of the best meals I’ve had is at Michelin star @kwonsooksoo in Apgujeong, Seoul back last Feb 2020. From their dry aged Hanwoo to their abalone and the mandarin punch dessert, everything was fantastic. A must visit on your next trip to Seoul. I also did a video of my visit. 07.01.2022 Whenever I get the fat soy ramen from @chaco_bar , I always add extra back fat () for extra layer of texture. So much umami with light sweet and garlic notes. Chashu and ajitamago was on point
