17.01.2022 If like us you have stared into the distance wondering how the lids get on toothpaste tubes; who puts those little things (actually called aglets) on the end of shoe laces, or how the heck beer gets into the can... then behold, the magic revealed. I'm still crying watching how much gets wasted personally. If it wasn't for COVID we would be there like Barney from the Simpsons, and catching every last drop :)

14.01.2022 The Hefeweizen Wheat Beer from Rare Bird Brewing - Australia. 5.1% & 1.3 standard drinks. Their Kangabrew was my beer of the month during isolation so I was dyi...ng to try this, even though I’m not a big wheat beer drinker. This was a great tasting wheat beer, similar to an Oktoberfest type wheat beer but doesn’t seem anywhere near as heavy as some I’ve had, which is a positive as you’ll be able to fit more in . Smelt a bit like banana, a cloudy beer that tasted great going down, nice fizz on the tongue and with a pleasant aftertaste. Another super beer from a top independent local brewer in Hurstbridge #supportlocal You can probably only grab them directly from Rare Bird, at Nillumbik Cellars, the bottle shop in Hurstbridge, Dc meats and The Hops and Vine Australian. 05.01.2022 Welcome to the flock... Codename: The Bin Chicken. Our Imperial Chocolate Stout. 9.5% Stout with Peruvian cocoa paste... ... We call it the Incan Imperial Chocolate Stout... because you know... Peru. Smooth and creamy, with a front end hint of chocolate and aback end bitterness from 60 odd IBU of hops and of course the cocoa. Perfect on these cold winter nights, or maybe at the end of a hard day of home schooling. :)
