21.01.2022 Today the 4th January we held our mens singles championships five men participated,John Roy,David Horrigan,Joe Jones,Rodney Edwards,Tony Keen.Playing a Round Robyn the winner of each game had to finish with a score of 17 points.The winner of the singles mens championship was Tony Keen, who never lost a game, (four wins)a Huge Congratulations to Tony,he played some excellent bowls.I am sure his dad Bill was watching from above cheering him on,with a huge smile on his face,saying thats my boy.I'm sure Bill and Terri are extremly pround.Well done.

02.01.2022 Saturday January 18th golf and bowling club held there biggest event of the year there OD TRANSPORT DAY. We commenced the day with a spider,a $ coin is placed in the middle of the green with a jack (small ball) sitting on top ,everyone stands around the edge of the green with one foot in the gutter,everyone bowls one bowl at the same time, (bowls going everywhere)the one closest to the $coin is the winner,Well done Margo congratulations. With 16 teams of four players we were ...all ready and rearing to go.The format for the day was a game of 4'S playing 14 ends,then we split into 2's and played 12 ends,then another game of 4's playing another 14 ends, a huge day of bowls,but enjoyed by all.Winners for the day were Lance,John,Terry and Di. 2nd were Bridget,Gar,Syd,Judy. 3rd were Rachel,Ted,Shelly,David.4th were Larry,Peggy,Lorry,Bill.5th were Rusty,Lindsay,Coarl,Briany. NYW. Were Colin,Dick,Margaret,Elainne.CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU ALL,also thankyou for travelling from far and wide to make this a huge success,and an enjoyable fun day.
