13.01.2022 6 months ago we started up Food Is Free Laneway Ballarat with two container boxes of assorted veggies, a small recycled shoe rack stand with various herbs in ja...rs, and one small vase of flowers all from our garden....now look at it! Took a while for people to catch on. Some visitors looked around for CCTV cameras or a hidden camera like on Punk'd or Candid Camera.....others thought it was a garage sale. Most didn't know what Food Is Free was all about. 6 months later, and with word catching on and some days up to 100+ visitors a day, people sure do know what Food Is Free Laneway is all about now. Thanks for your support everyone. It's our dream for more and more Food Is Free stalls/Laneways/spaces/corners etc to set up. It's easy to do, and very rewarding - promise!
