18.01.2022 Happy New Year from Peninsula Toastmasters! Our First 2020 meeting will be (funny enough) on Monday the 20th of January. If you dying of Toastmasters deprivation you are welcome to visit our sister club in North Lakes next Tuesday 7th of January. 1/ 75 Flinders Pde, North Lakes 7pm. Otherwise looking forward to see you at the Redcliffe Library on the 20th of Jan!

13.01.2022 On Sunday we held a Bunnings Sausage Sizzle and raised money towards our Christmas Dinner! Well Done Donna for organising this event. On Monday we had a Contest Night very well organised by our Past President Ian. Congratulations to all Contestants and to our Test Speaker Graham. Many thanks to Judges. We had also the pleasure to have our Division Director Jenny and our Area Director Kirsty helping with the proceedings!

04.01.2022 Peninsula Toastmasters Changeover Dinner Monday July 6, 2020 Meeting 966 PALM TREES AND FIRE PITS ... Peninsula Toastmasters Executive Changeover Dinner last night 6th July, showcased the adaptability and innovation of a club destined to thrive. Our first face-to-face meeting in five months, for nineteen members and guests, was hosted at the home of incoming Treasurer - Donna. With a backdrop of palm trees and fire-pits, Daniel Reid, Area 8 Director 2019-20, conducted the changeover ceremony to farewell the outgoing executive and welcome the new. Daniel brought his outdoor heater and is welcome back anytime. We congratulated Madonna Toastmaster of the Year; and Darren - Most Improved Toastmaster. Peter, our new member, was welcomed by all and inducted by Darren in his first duty as President. Allan shared funny jokes. Madonna and Ian performed a hilarious comedy skit on Cats. Suzanne did a poem in her amazing bush poetry style: Kitty McCrae by Barcroft Boake. Everybody was smiling and engaged. The best aspect of the evening was camaraderie and fellowship. What a great start to our new Toastmasters year!
