Ground floor load in, kitchen and bathroom facilities. Drum kit for hire ($10/session) All new bands are welcome. Still going strong for over 2 decades.

16.01.2022 Hey everyone, hope this is ok to post here. My name is James Kelly, I am relatively new to the Canberra area and I am the owner/operator of Jay Ds Music. S...ervices offered are PA and operator hire, solo muso (keys/acoustic guitar/vocalist) for hire, FOH operator, and stage lighting design and operation. I also have a setup that works very well for wedding DJing. My PA setup is currently best suited for smaller-medium sized venues, but I have the capability to expand that to suit larger venues if required. I have been trying to get myself out there by contacting venues directly, but its hard to get word of mouth recommendations when you are new to the area and nobody knows you yet. All I am wanting is to be able to support my wife and 6 month old son. 08.01.2022 COVID19 Update. At this point in time Infidel Studios remains open for business. Foley and other postproduction services, audio digitisation services and music/...audio recording services are able to function as normal. We are following government guidelines, practicing physical (social) distancing and regular hand washing / sanitising. We are, as a minimum, cleaning/disinfecting all common contact areas, computer keyboards & mouses, vocal mic cages and foams, pop filters after every session as appropriate. If you would like to make a booking or have a session booked with us and unsure if it is reasonable to go ahead, please contact us so we can discuss your concerns and find an appropriate solution. And of course, if you have any COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms please contact us to postpone your session. This virus has already had a massive impact on the music and film/television industries. It will be a long and hard time for everyone but it will end. Stay well, and lets look after each other through this time.

06.01.2022 Large artists gallery space for rent in Fyshwick. The price is $200 per week until December 2019. Redsun Studios will take no further commissions on sold artworks after rental amount paid in full. Gallery opening times from 5am - 5pm Monday-Friday with weekends negotiable and under certain conditions. Gallery space is to be run completely autonomously by the artist. ... Artists wishing to rent this space should be aware that this is a music and art gallery- during evening times (generally 5.30pm-11.30pm) the building opens for band rehearsals. Art can be secured during this time and the gallery itself will not be used for rehearsals. Artists can take the entire space or collaborate with other artists. Extra rooms available by negotiation. Building has 12 Full High Definition cameras interior and exterior. Artist can have access to the building 24/7 during rental period. Artists will need to organise their own insurance. Gallery space has adjustable lighting bars. Space can be rented daily, weekly or monthly. All bookings must be made in advance. Opening nights can also be arranged. Plenty of customer parking. Close to all amenities and centrally located on Pirie Street. Street signage provided. Contact Ralph on 0404178996 for expressions of interest.

05.01.2022 [Guitarist/Songwriter Wanted] Hi all, I am looking for a confident, quality guitarist to play backup music while I sing. I play ukulele and guitar, but Im looking for someone to perform with me during larger gigs so I can concentrate on singing. I am a singer, a performer and an aspiring song-writer. I have performed at markets, pubs, cafes and weddings both solo and as part of a group. I largely sing easy listening acoustic covers of popular vocalists including Sarah McLac...hlan, Fleetwood Mac, Adele, Coldplay, City and Colour and Ben Howard among others. Separately, Im also interested in finding songwriters to collaborate with. I can offer harmonisation on originals or singing vocals for recordings either professionally or in exchange for assistance in my own song writing.
