21.01.2022 2020 FINAL EPISODE Ronaldo Mulitalo is a rising young Sharks winger with arguably the best super star name in the NRL. Ronaldo was raised by a single mum on the rough side of Auckland where for a large chunk of his childhood, his whole family lived together in a garage.... They were repeatedly robbed, the garage leaked water and the door wouldn't shut properly and would bang all night. It was a truly tough upbringing. But instead of letting it beat him down and turning him to drugs, alcohol or crime, Ronaldo uses it to drive his passion of improving youth homelessness now that football has helped him into a much better position in life. #nrl #cronulla #sharks #podcast #homeless #youth
20.01.2022 How good to see!
20.01.2022 Jamal Fogarty is all smiles as he prepares for his Indigenous All Stars debut at the age of 27. ___ The Gold Coast Titans halfback was forced to wait over 1,000... days between NRL games three and four, venturing from club-to-club and within the Queensland Cup. ___ His story on the @refuse_to_lose_podcast was highly motivating and a true example of someone who never gave up. ___ 12 months ago a friend joked to him he would be playing in the All Stars game this year. ___ It’s pretty crazy to think 12 months ago me and a couple of my work mates grabbed a couple of tickets and went up to Robina and watched the game and obviously to be selected it’s been a crazy 12 months, he told WWOS. ___ It’s a very proud moment for myself and my family getting to represent where I am from and my family. ___ Persistence, hard work and a positive attitude can get you anywhere in life. So to see Jamal here smiling and enjoying this opportunity has made my day. See more
