19.01.2022 Very proud of my housemate @lcjane04 who began her health and fitness journey a few months ago (all it took was for me to leave the country for a while for her to have the extra energy to get motivated ) She’s lost a bunch of weight but more importantly seems so much happier and energetic! The side benefits are that we enjoy similar meals when we cook now AND I drag her to the pool with me for company on my easy recovery swims! (exhibit A pictured).... This is in addition to putting up with my moods and all round general bad behaviors sometimes as she always has #fitspo #bebetterthanordinary

17.01.2022 One day a week I get the luxury of a recovery swim, and you can bet that I take full advantage of swimming very easy and make the most of: Not having to swim full gas for 90 minutes Not getting my ass whooped by all my @thehillsdistrict squad mates ... The pre swim procrastination time (anywhere up to 20 minutes) #justkeepswimming

09.01.2022 Everybody else is doing, so why can’t we? - The Cranberries It’s party time in a couple of weeks! Im #heading2husky (along with almost every other long course pro in Aus!) *to race the #huskytri on the 28th February which doubles up as the @triaustralia Australian Long Course Championships ... Time to blow out the cobwebs and see where my early season fitness is at as we build into *a big year! Very happy to be involved in an event that the @professionaltriathletesorg is supporting, they continue to value and help professionals more than anyone else in the sport. Thank you to @eliteenergy_au for providing the opportunity for the PTO, and for us Who will be there? *pending further Covid outbreaks, border closures, alien invasion or other general chaos and disarray
