21.01.2022 Update 18th April: At this point in time I am not expecting the Travel Club to restart until July that is unless things change dramatically. The situation is this: Tours from July are: July 23rd: Armidale 4 day tour August 8th: The Armoury and Olympic Site... August 15th: Crafty Markets September 6th: Dangar Island Cruise (NO cabins used) September 26th: Tulip Tops * October 19th: Silos to the sea November 1st: Berry Showground Markets * November 20th: Outback to Outback All other tours originally advertised for 2020 have been cancelled. 19.01.2022 1st August Update. All tours for 2020 have now been cancelled. The Silos to the Sea has been moved to March 2021 and the Outback to Outback to April. The Outback we really do want to do as this is the fund raiser for the Fire victims. All the dates for the Motels have been changed and confirmed and we hope that the cost will not change, if it does it will be very small, depends on the motels. The next Meeting is the AGM November 3rd. Any changes will be listed on this f/b site..

18.01.2022 3rd September update, like everything else, nothing has changed. We are still printing the monthly newsletter and the September edition is now available at the Club or you can download it from the Travel Club web site. Not much news in it but lots of jokes. Stay safe.

16.01.2022 Last year the Travel Club supported the Longest Line of RV's in Barcaldine Qld with the money the event raised going to the Farmers. The event broke the Guinness Book of Records listing and it is now official that this event is the world record holder. For our effort and support we were awarded this plaque:

07.01.2022 13th October: The Covid-19 problem still continues. We will be in the Club on Tuesday November 3rd (Melbourne Cup day) between 11-30 and 12 and again at 6-30pm. This will be for members to confirm their bookings on the Silos and Outback tours in 2021. Anyone expressing intertest in either or both of these tours are welcome to come along and put your name down. We ask that you abide by the Social Distancing rules in place, it is not a meeting as such.

06.01.2022 June 21st 2020: The Corona Virus has made this year not happen and we can only see a very small light at the end of the tunnel. Our next planned Meeting was to be July, but with the current restrictions in place this is now not possible. As the meeting cannot be held it will mean the cancellation of 3 planned tours, Christmas in July, The Armory and the Crafty Markets.. The problem we have is members have been unable to make bookings which we only do at meetings. Next meetin...g, we hope, is August. The Outback 10 day tour to raise funds for the fire victims will go ahead, at this stage in in November but if unable to do this then early next year This tour is too important to cancel. We still need more bookings for this tour.
